Very noisy washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine seems to clean the clothes but compared to my previous Whirlpool, it is very loud. The fabric softener frequently does not dispense in the rinse cycle, so it's left in the tray until the next load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nydairygirl, we apologize that you are experiencing this matter with your washer and would be glad to help get it working again. The way fabric conditioner drawers’ work is that they are actually a siphon. Scum will build up in the siphon tube and stop the liquid from going into the washer tub. Open the dispenser until it stops. In the left rear corner of the dispenser, there is a release that is labeled push. Press down on the push area and you can slide the dispenser drawer out. Clean the bottom of the insert and reinstall. I hope this helps! -Jennifer

Water doesn't drain

Water level at the top of the tray after every wash. Service techs tried a new tray and adjusted the machine. Nothing has worked so far.

Hey Jjelectrolux, we apologize that you are experiencing this matter with your washer. The way dispenser drawers’ work is that they are actually a siphon. The reason you have clear water in it at the end is, that the siphon is plugged up, so when your washing machine goes into the cycle where it's supposed to add softener, it starts flowing water into that compartment and because of the blockage, the water together with the conditioner doesn’t go out the bottom opening in the drawer instead it overflows the compartment. It still goes down into the washing machine it's just that the drawer never drains the water. Scum will build up in the siphon tube and stop the liquid from going into the washer tub. To test the siphon action slowly pour water into the bleach compartment. When the water level goes above the maximum line stop pouring. The water should all drain out. Cleans well, & lots of features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a little over 2 months ago after a lot of research. We had never had a front load washer before, and I had heard so many bad things about front loaders, but our old washer died, and for our laundry space, a front loader is really our best option. What I found in my research is that Electrolux really has quality appliances that get the job done. And through reading different consumer ratings/reviews, as well as anecdotal information from people I know, we decided that if we were going to get a front loader, we were going to spend the extra money to get one that would actually do a good job. So far I am very pleased with this washer. It has taken a little getting used to the longer washing cycles than what my old top loader had, but so far it has ever done well cleaning my baby's cloth diapers. There are lots of options to customize each wash cycle for optimum cleaning, and the 18 minute cycle is great for when I have something that isnt' too dirty, but just needs a fast washing. Plus, hands down they have one of the best warranties on the market.

Works great, drain pump too loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after being told by the dealer that it was the quietest washer in existence. While running the first load, the drain pump made a loud vibrating/roaring sound. A repairman came out and replaced the pump, and though still loud and annoying, he said that was the normal noise level to expect from this washer. Thus we can't do laundry at night as the washer wakes people up! Otherwise it cleans fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty good washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer has good features. It doesn't always drain well in the front seal - will sometimes leave bubbles and water. It vibrates less than our previous washer but still does vibrate. The cycles seem to take longer than our previous washer:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washer and dryer set in November of 2016 after researching washer and dryers, checking reviews, and talking to sales representatives and repair men. I was determined not to make the mistake of buying a well-known brand and then finding out it was an overpriced failure. This washer and dryer is among the best purchases that I have ever made. I love the sleek contemporary look and ease of operation. It is quiet, very efficient, and uses less water and electricity because of shorter washing and drying cycles. Keeping the washer clean and free of odors is easy with the special clean cycle that eliminates the need for manual cleaning of a filter trap. My old appliance required monthly removal of stinky goo composed of hair, clothing fibers, and detergent residue by opening a door at the bottom of the washer, draining the mess and then removing the trap and washing it before re-installing it. The whole process took 30-40 minutes and was a miserable experience. This washer works exactly as advertised and saves me time and money which is why it is an award-winning appliance and the only choice that I would recommend.
