After 18 months of ownership suddenly started giving off a strong burning plastic smell from the vents at the back and became unusable. Expected better for the money. Been buying flatscreen TVs and monitors for 20 years and this one lasted the shortest amount of time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

it gave up after little use

Super nice product. However USB-C port gave up after 4 years of very little use. Switched to HDMI ports obviously with no charging and then they began to have issues. The init ended up in the dumpster

Excellent but for a short time only

I brought this monitor a bit more than two years ago and have been really pleased. Only after a bit more than a year it started to show "halos" in corners, albeit not really severely. Now, after a bit more than two years the degradation is horrible. It is a beautiful monitor but the performance over time is really, really poor. I am extremely displeased with the quality of this product.

All in One!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my monitor as a space saver. It has various ways to split the screen and work more efficiently. I have 2 suggestions for improvement: (1) add a speaker to the screen (2) work out the bugs on the use of OnScreen Control in the latest version of Windows. I had to roll back to an older version and hope this gets fixed soon.

Great monitor to use with new MBP!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this as a Christmas gift a few weeks back and have really been enjoying it. It may be a pricey monitor but you get what you pay for because it’s an amazing picture. The sharpness and color accuracy is amazing in my opinion. It works great with the usb-c hub and the MacBook Pro. The only thing I wish could be different was a setting for it to not fall asleep right after a little time without signal. Other than that it’s a great monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this for a couple of weeks. The quality of construction and the quality of the picture are outstanding. Updating the software on the LG website is too difficult for 2019. There should be a way to click on your unit and have all desired updates downloaded and installed.
