Red Corners with connection to MBP-15 via usb-c

I've bought this monitor almost two years ago. The purpose of this monitor was to stream a video via usb-c from MBP and play on PS4 PRO.
The first 6 months the monitor was connected to a MBP 13" Late 2013 via HDMI and PS4 PRO and all was excellent.
Then I've got an MBP 15" 2018 and started using it via usb-c, after one month of use it was great, the image was vivid and sharp, then I noticed that all 4 corners of the monitor got the red corners and every day they got bigger and bigger, I've started google and found that I'm not the only one who has such issue with such setup.
The temporary fix was to turn the monitor off for 1 month, the red corners are gone, but then if you start to use this monitor again the red corners again shows up.
Don't know how to get rid off those red corners.
Who knows how, please give an advice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Apple MacBook Pro 15" - Alright
on October 7, 2017

I purchased 2 of these monitors, after having purchased (and returned) the Apple approved 5K (Model: 27MD5KA-B.AUSA). These are fine and are basically 1/2 the price of the 5K version. The only thing they are missing are: 1) (of course) 5K; 2) No built in camera; 3) No built in speakers; 4) Cannot charge my 2016 MacBook Pro 15" - have to use the charging cable. I just couldn't justify the cost difference, and they both have the plastic look - miles away from my Apple Thunderbolt Display aluminum and glass finish. (oh, Apple, why did you desert us??) I do NOT like the White back (screams plastic - whereas with black, you're not really sure), or the White cords, which calls attention to them. I really wanted a clean-one cord USB-C solution, but when I realized that with any monitor (including the LG 5K that Apple sells), you would have to plug in one monitor to one side of the MBP and the other monitor into the other side of the MBP (no, you can't plug them into the same side), I figured, what's one more cord?

I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 12 inch MacBook to use when on the road. Now as you can imagine this isn't exactly the best way to be productive when back in the office. Now hooking this incredible monitor up to my Macbook using ONE usb-c cable (also charges it at the same time) now my productivity is through the roof. Also to see how crisp every video, photo and the brightness is just incredible. It has caused multiple colleagues to follow suit and they are also delighted, A must buy!
Pros: Style/Design, Performance, Quality, easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to use with our Macbook Pros and i place the Macbook right in front of it. Works great for web design. Adobe and Sketch software. Wish it had more than one usb-c
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 of these monitors (LG 27UD88-W) connected via USB Type C to my MacBook Pro (Late 2016, Touch Bar Model). Everything works perfect and I am very pleased.
I struggled between saving some money and buying a monitor that did not have USB Type C Input but decided against it as this is where the future is headed and I do not have to deal with dongles or multiple cables. If you can spend the extra money these are worth every penny!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] image quality is amazing, closest thing to a dock available for a MacBook Pro; single USB-C cable covers: Video, Charges notebook, and acts as hub for other peripherals.
