My Vitamix 5200 came with the tall 64oz container which has worked great for so many recipes. But I wanted a low-rise container for smaller batch recipes and especially for hummus. I'm very happy with the 48oz container. The wider opening is helpful and access is even easier for scraping out all the blended goodness.

Good size for everyday use

This cup is the perfect size and I use it at least once a day. Its enough to make a smoothie for one person, its enough to make smoothie for 2 people. If I want to make a quick hot chocolate, I grab this cup. And so far, its been holding up my usage!
