I bought it as my extra smaller container. I use my vitamin almost daily. My bigger ones was years old but still use it. Was thinking about buying a new machine encause my old container was turning a little opaque…..but why if I can get new containers. Saved me money. Use it for my smaller shakes…..easy clean up. Excellent feature enhancements: Base no longer collects water from the dishwasher, it drains; grips no longer collects water either, upside down the design allows for airflow and is more stable on a counter when drying; the rubber top is better designed to lock into place when in use; and the pour spout is less likely to drip when pouring. I replaced the taller version of the container as after moving it no longer fit under that cabinets. I've now had my Vitamix blender for over 10 years and I use it twice a day.

It’s not an “under the counter” container unless the lids upside down. Also the plastic cap stays lose. Otherwise it very nice, cleans up well.

The Perfect Size

This is the perfect size to make smoothies. I have the standard size container that came with the base and haven't used it to make smoothies because it's just too big. This container is the right size and it fits under my kitchen cabinets while sitting on the base. Win-win
