What can be said about a smaller container? Love to size. It's easier to clean for smaller portions. Does what it should. If you love your Vitamix as much as I do, but wish the original container was a bit smaller... well, this is for you.

I’ve had my vitamix with the original container for about 8 years and love it. I only cook for myself so sometimes s the regular container was just too big for my needs. I purchased tha 48 oz container and can tell you in the month I’ve owned it, I use it at least 3-4 times a week! It’s the perfect size for 99% of my needs.

I purchased this smaller container so I could use it for smaller batches of things. I was unsure if it was going to work at first because to me it felt too loose on my vitamix. It works, but I think the square plastic bottom should be more fitted to the vitamix.

We are glad to hear that this is working for you for smaller batches. We also understand your concern, but this fit is by design. The four rubber feet on the top of your machine are used to center the container and allow shifting so the connections are not stripped.

I like the compact size of this container, easier cleanup. But it takes a bit more effort to get food from the bottom corners of the container to go into the blade. The push tool has a harder time reaching toward the bottom corners, I think because of the angle, than the larger container.
