the additional container was due to a flaw in the larger container which we did not suffer from. The new container is a more desirable size for our purpose. In all the Vitamix is one of our most use portable appliance. I would highly recommend the product.

Since I already have the 64 container, I needed something a little smaller. The 48 oz is perfect. Sometimes you don’t need the 64 oz. I find myself using it almost everyday. I just love my Vitamix blender. Don’t know what I’d do without it.

I love my Vitamix. But got a smaller 48 oz container and have trouble with the lid not fitting tight enough and liquid shoots out the top. I’ve tried adjusting it but still have issues. So I turn it on with a towel over it.
