cloudiness forms on container after only 4 weeks

Within a month of using the new vitamix container it started to get cloudy around the bottom
and with each passing week it shows more and more cloudiness on the sides, and I've only been using it for a total of 6 weeks. I have been cleaning it per instructions after each use, but it doesn't help. This is the reason I bought a replacement, my last container got so bad I couldn't read the measurements. I purchased my vitamix blender over 10 years ago, and many friends have seen me use it and loved the smoothness of the smoothies I made for them and then went on to purchase one for themselves. But I just cannot continue to recommend the blender anymore, because the container is too much of an issue. It starts to look grubby on the countertop. And they're not cheap to replace.

I have an original C series or TNC machine. I was always envious of the new low stature containers and when I noticed there was a 1.4l container available for my C series, I bought it. I have to say, it is nowhere near the quality of my original container. The clear plastic handle is quite thin and the lid is made from a hard plastic. This renders it completely inflexible and hard to fit.

Wobbly fit

This is the second extra wet container I have purchased for our Professional 750. The first was the 32 oz container. This 48 oz container does not fit snugly on the base and was very wobbly as if it was too large. Has anyone else experienced this problem? We have not used it yet as we may have to send it back. Any suggestions are appreciated!

The Vitamix containers do not lock in place by design. They should sit flush on top of the motor base and when the motor is turned on and the blades are engaged, the container may shift slightly.

I bought this several months to supplement the larger goblet. It is easier to get the product out because it is shorter and wider. It is a good size for smaller batches. On a practical level, it fits well on the counter under wall mounted cupboards.

I have a Vitamix mixer and have the large pitcher to go with it. I had a gift certificate that I used towards the purchase of one that's smaller that reportedly would fit underneath the cabinet. if I compare my original to the new one they are almost exactly the same height buy less volume. If I place either of them on the Vitamix mixer, they do not fit underneath my cabinet when placed on top of my countertops. So, it has to be pulled out to situatreaway from the cabinets in order to use it and I can't keep it on the counter with the lid on. The sole reason why I bought the smaller picture was because it touted being able to fit under countertops and now I'm still stuck with another pitcher that I now also have to store somewhere else as to not take up even more room. In addition, the fitting of the pitcher on the mixer is not as tight as my original. It is loose around the prongs that should hold it steady and it moves when the mixer is blending. The original does not I paid a significant amount of money for something that I won't use. What an absolute waste and these units are very expensive. I did use it one time to see how well it would turn and noticed some small black flecks in my smoothie. I did wash it out when I received it so not sure where this is coming from.

All containers will sit flush on the motor base and once the blades are engaged, may shift depending on the load. This is by design. All containers list the dimensions on their product specification page. The 48-ounce container is 10.25 in. and was described to fit “easily under most kitchen cabinets”. Great for medium-sized batches

I bought this 48oz container because the 64oz one that came with my 7500 is too large for smoothies and small servings of frozen desserts. The smaller container great for smoothies, nut butters, sauces, and hummus.
I give 4 stars instead of 5 because it's hard to clean. For anything thicker than a smoothie, food gets stuck to the metal ring under the blades. Blending with dish soap for 30 seconds, as recommended, doesn't get all the grime. I've tried soaking it in vinegar, to some avail, but for the most part I've resigned myself to having a not entirely clean container.

These plastic containers break and are expensive. We had an old stainless steel model and it lasted until we upgraded to a new model. We have broke 2 of these containers already on the new model. Just making smoothies.
