Great style

Although I'm not a student, I like a backpack for carrying my laptop computer, cord, and books. The extra pockets are wonderful. It's so much easier on my back because the weight is evenly distributed. The straps are easy to adjust. This is a good size for travel and short hikes. It's also stylish. I get a lot of compliments.

I’ve had two of these backpacks and I won’t own anything else. The first one lasted me 4 years and the second one is going on 2 years and still looks fabulous. The OGIO lifetime warranty is fantastic. These things take so much abuse and hold up and look great. I love all the little pockets, the padding for the laptop, and the durability. Mine goes with me EVERY DAY back and forth to work and has been taken on several work trips. It’s just the right size. When full it feels like I’m going to tip over backwards so I don’t think I’d want anything bigger :) I’ve got a laptop, several files, a notebook, safety gear for work (glasses, high vis vest, sleeves), a Bluetooth speaker, mouse, cords/chargers, pens, markers, post it’s, Lysol, and much more. Its been my mobile office for years and works perfect. You won’t regret this purchase! Worth the money for sure!

Small but well organize in the compartment within. Perhaps, suggest a aluminum on the top holder like the well travel bag.
Cons: top holder needs to sturdier.

Has some issues, but a decent professional-looking backpack

About me: I'm an English PhD (ABD) who decided that I'm getting too old to keep schlepping books around in a messenger bag and need to give my back a break. Previous messenger bag was on the small side (maybe 15x12x4?). This backpack is a comparable size and gives me a wee bit more room. I love how it looks and the options for organizing my stuff (lots of pockets). I've had it for a few weeks and so far it feels very comfortable. Definitely sized for a woman's body without looking too bulky (I'm 5'6" and around 150lbs).
Problems I've read about in other posts:
A little too pricey for the quality -- It's true that this doesn't feel quite as hardy as it should for the price, but so far nothing feels like it's going to break. The button issue I solved by immediately resewing the buttons on the front with parachute thread (those suckers ain't going anywhere) and super gluing the side buttons. There's no reason to ever undo any of these buttons to access the adjacent pouches.

Can't fit water bottle in side pockets -- This may be true if you are toting around a lot of wide items (like standard-sized textbooks). As an English PhD, I'm usually carrying paperbacks or anthologies and I have no problem fitting my Contigo water bottle.
Laptop pocket -- I have a 14" laptop and this fits great. The padding is great as well. A 15" would probably fit, but anything bigger might not.
Capacity -- I've read reviews from people that complained about the capacity, but I think this is just fine for my needs. Generally, I throw in: a laptop, a writing journal, a portfolio, a planner, a large anthology and a medium size paperback, a small tupperware (lunch), and the water bottle.
Qualms: It tips forward very easily, which is annoying to me, as a messenger bag person. The extra padding makes me feel better about the safety of my laptop, though. Also, I'm used to being able to reach in a messenger bag and grab my wallet. I wish this had some kind of easy access side pocket.

Great Product ——but

This is a great product. Perfect size for my petite build. It has all kinds of compartments inside to organize everything perfectly. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because of the exterior buttons. First of all they are useless and second of all the buttons popped off on my former Ogio. They couldn’t be sown back on. So I would recommend to design this exact bag WITHOUT useless buttons. The bag is waterproof—-a very good feature.
