Beautiful but small

I've had this back pack for 3 years now and it still looks brand new. I use it for school. It is very durable and fits/protects my toshiba 17in laptop perfectly. The backpack has great support, however, the middle compartment where you would store books is quite small. I am now on the hunt for a bigger backpack because this one just won't work for me anymore. When it is completely stuffed you cannot fit ANYTHING in the side water bottle pockets. I can fit 1 textbook, a 1.5 in binder, a 3 subject notebook, and a small planner, along with my laptop. I recommend this product for students that don't need much book storage.
Pros: fits large laptops
Cons: small book compartment

Quality has gone down

I bought this to replace one that was very similar but the new fabric is crunchy like plastic and the buttons are subpar, unlike the old cute buttons. The interior fabrics is boring and not whimsical like the rainbow polka dots on the previous version. Bring back the last version, please!

Best backpack I've ever owned.

I love this bag. I spotted someone wearing the wine colored version on the train and had to have it for myself - it was the most sophisticated looking backpack I'd ever seen and I was about to start a new job where I knew I'd be meeting with corporate clients. I didn't want to show up for meetings with executives feeling like a kid going off to school.
I haven't regretted this purchase for a second. I opted for the black (which is like a dark charcoal) and love everything about it. It has plenty of pockets so I can stay organized. It's comfortable no matter what I've got in there. It can hold everything I need for my professional life - laptop, cords (neatly tucked in their own pocket), files, notebooks, etc. And it is as striking a bag as I remembered.
Hands down the best backpack I've ever owned.
The one teeny complaint I have is about the pulls - they have been coming undone quickly and don't have the same elegant vibe as the rest of the bag. A small complaint for an otherwise perfect bag.

Nicely Designed Backpack

I really do love this backpack. It has so many different compartments to store my things. The wine color is so pretty and the quality is great. I can fit everything in the backpack and the compartment for the laptop and charger is a great feature. The only problem with this backpack would be the laptop compartment sleeve if you had a larger laptop. The sleeve fits my laptop perfectly but if you had a larger/bulkier laptop, it might not fit. I would definitely recommend this backpack if you want a stylish looking backpack with great functionality!

My favorite backpack - pretty and holds everything

This is so different compared to what your colleagues will be carrying. I have had it in the wine color for 4 years now. Wash it on delicate cycle and air dry countless times and still looks like new.
The ONLY thing this doesn't have is the slip on the back over your suitcase handle. Otherwise, you'll be pleasantly surprised how much this will hold...my back has given up before the bag has!

Cons: no slip for suitcase handle

The only disappointment was that the front buttons aren't covered as shown in the photos. That was part of what drew me to this design. Ignoring that, everything else was as described. I use it for the work commute and it easily holds my 15" laptop without weighing my shoulders down. Great investment.
