Quiet, easy to use and efficient!

I have a 3 month old baby and a 2 year old child. To grow free of allergies or dust is my priority. In addition to that, my house has big and tall fabric curtains. I haven't found somebody to clean them. I am sure they keep too much dust and other impurities.
I started using this product few days ago and my children are sneezing less frequent. Will keep using it and reading the manual entirely to get the most out of it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the LG Puricare was that it was smaller than the impression I got from LG's brochure photos. I was happy about that. I also liked the round design better than I thought I would. Initially, I thought it would be obtrusive, but stylish. Instead, it is small and stylish. I placed it near my dresser in the bedroom and the height just covers the wall outlet.
Taking it out of the box, you only need to open the "back door" and remove the plastic from the filters. The filters are a set of three circles that snap together. The cleaning/replacement instructions for the filter are indicated by sticker on the frame. There is also a small dust sensor that needs wiping with a cotton swab every six months.
The very neat thing about this purifier is that a sensor indicates the condition of the air and all you need to do is glance at the color. Green is good, red is bad. A sticker on the unit gives more detail on the color range and what qualifies for "good".
I turned the unit on (it has a happy musical chime like the LG washer and dryers) and it was set to auto. It sensed the particulate matter and adjusted the fan. I couldn't hear anything. It really is very quiet. Later, I moved the unit to a busier area of the house (it cleans a room of up to 248sf) and we heard the fan speed up to account for the increase in dust. It was not an obtrusive sound- and it was nice to know it was working. Soon after, it went back to the low setting.
So far, we are really happy with this purifier. My kids say they noticed the difference in the air already.

Perfect air purifier for ALL!

Its size, design and color let it be placed anywhere and fits perfectly along with air quality indicator light which gives perfect mood as well.

There are 6 year old and 5 year old running all over the house and its response to air quality is very quick. I've noticed less sneezing and kids are having better sleep. Also the machine itself is very quiet.

Great Air Purifier

The colored LED display in the middle of the front is entertaining. It shows a different color for each air quality level. This is much quieter than the ones that I owned previously. A must have for a growing family!

As a first time mom, I only wanted the best for my baby girl's room. We've had this unit for about 4 months and absolutely adore it! My favorite feature is the 4 lights that tell you what the air quality is. Not only does it clean the air in baby's room but its also very quiet so it doenst disturb her naps/bedtimes. A must have for a growing family!! Highly recommend to all the new mommies out there :)
