LG PuriCare is the Gold Standard of Air Purifiers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in a house with multiple cats, we decided to try a quality Air Purifier. I first tried an Air Ionizer. The ionization bothered my breathing, so I returned it & did not hold out high hopes for an Air Purifier.
I selected LG because of the outstanding performance of their Top-Of-The-Line Washer & Dryer, the quiet & most effective laundry equipment I have ever owned.
WOW!! What a pleasant surprise! The Air Purifier is whisper quiet (see photo showing where I actually measured the "Noise" level.
Odors? GONE!
Friends visiting our home with Allergies or Asthma? NO SYMPTOMS!
Maintenance? The LG PuriCare indicates when to order & when to replace the filter. There are actually 3) filters. Step 1 filter should be washed 1ce / month. Steps 2 and 3 should be replaced annually. No tools required. Please refer to my HD video that illustrates how easy it is to change the filter!
Power Consumption? 3 WATTS on the normal Low Speed! This is an Energy Star Certified Product.
CONCLUSION: The LG PuriCare is a KEEPER for our Feline Friendly Home!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one purifier last fall and put it upstairs right outside our daughter's room. Last week, I bought a second one for our downstairs. This purifier cuts odors like nothing else I have ever had. The smell of fish and bacon is eliminated minute after you finish cooking. As someone who is sensitive to smells, this is really important to me. In addition, I have really bad seasonal allergies and this purifier has made my home an allergy-free zone, which is huge!
I bought a third purifier to gift to my brother who lives in Santa Barbara, CA. This was at the height of the scare with forest fires and he had been issued a mandatory evacuation notice a couple times because of forest fires. Needless to say, this meant his apartment and everything he owned was permeated with the smoke. My brother said that the smell of smoke was gone after running this purifier for a couple hours!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in WA state, night now there are fires everywhere and the air quality is dangerous outside. It was 85 degrees in our 150sf bedroom and unbearable to sleep. I decided to open the window to cool it down. In 15 min the air quality on the purifier went from 15(good) to 150(really really bad). I shut the window once the temp was bearable and within 5-7 min the air quality was back to the teens. Amazing. This little machine was expensive, but worth every penny To be able to breathe.

Disc surface appears to ship with a thin protect film but can't get a confirmation. Noticed scratches on surface with week of ownership. Can anyone confirm if the unit comes with a very thin films over the disc surface?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Add love everything about this purifier. It does more than what I’ve seen in other purifiers that I bought in the past. I just love the different settings and it’s so quiet that I don’t realize that it’s still on. This LG completely remove all the contaminated air from my apartment. If anyone is thinking about buying one of those items I would recommend you doing so. it’s worth every penny that you spend on it.

I should of followed my instinct to purchase sooner because I love it!! It is so easy to set up and understand the features. Mine is set to auto, so there is no need to touch or adjust the settings. The quality of the air is better, so I breathe and sleep better also. I definitely recommend, this was a great buy. "LG employee"

Quiet and efficient

The unit performs as advertised- the sensor picks up particles and smells nearby, and controls are intuitive and easy to use. It's quiet compared to other air purifiers I've used in the past, even with high fan speeds. The unit is slightly bigger than expected, but the design is sleek and makes it unobtrusive.
