I love this phone. the ease of taking pictures is awesome and every other feature has been great. i think this is a great phone

My son has sold cell phones for eight years and insisted I get my Samsung Galaxy S5 when I upgraded. I have been in love with it from the first day! I am never without it. I use it for surfing the internet, taking pictures, reading my Kindle books, it is my alarm clock, my grocery list, alerts me to weather changes, and keeps me from getting lost in Dallas, it is my best friend. I would be lost without it! Samsung really hit it out of the ballpark with the Galaxy S5! Thank you Samsung!

The Samsung Galaxy 5 is an average phone in comparison to all others on the market. I haven't really found anything in the past 3 months that it can do that any other phone couldn't do. In saying that, there could be some things that I don't know the phone can do yet. At first I had trouble holding on to the phone and dropped it many times due to how slick the back is. I did put a case on it and have not had that problem. I have also dropped my phone in shallow water twice and it still works. The battery life is fairly decent (16-18hrs) due to all the background things that are running that I have no idea how to cut off. I had a friend tell me not to download the security stuff that comes with the phone because it kills your battery. Also people I talk to say they have trouble hearing me which could be from the water. Otherwise it gets the job done!!

Cons: microphone insuficient

Being of an age where the eyesight is not what it used to be, the size of the screen and features really is nice. I have found it easy to use and durable.

Best Phone I've ever had

I switched from an iPhone to the s5. This created a small issue with imessages, however that was quickly fixed with a call to apple. There isn't much I can't do with this phone. I also found that without a password I would pocket dial constantly, most people have passwords or codes so it doesn't matter. I have not found any glitches or issues other than those couple problems. I love the size of the screen, and the clarity.
