This phone was given to me without my knowledge and apprently it was also a grad gift from my mom. Anyways, this phone is the first product I've had from Samsung and I have to say that it's really great ^_^ (I'm even writing this review on my phone) . It takes really awesome pictures and the quality for the video is outstanding! Although it's lags on opening game apps it's really fast on others. I also like how it gives you options for different fonts pre-installed in the phone. It also has many ringtones features and photo edit features. The call quality is pretty great and the videos this phone takes is definitely HD. All I gotta say is that this phone is awesome :) and yes I would recommend this to a friend.

Excellent! My first love of Samsung was the flip phone with another carrier.. I went from the S4 to the S5.. Thank you for the upgrade to the camera!!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, camera frontview quality

overall I think this phone is a great product the only problem I have is that you can't hear that very well out of the phone and people can't hear you when you're talking I don't know if it's because of the waterproofing of the phone cuz I had the same problem when I used my lifeproof case and my Otterbox case they both made it difficult to hear but other than that I like the phone the battery is not that great but it makes up in other areas it's a contender for beating the iPhone 5 easy if they improve on a lot of things like to hear and making the fingerprint scanner just a little bit easier but other than that I love this phone I would recommend this phone to everybody I know.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, water proof
Cons: you can't hear well and others can't hear you

In love with this phone

I have had my galaxy s5 for about three weeks now and I have to say hands down this is the best cell phone I have ever owned. I love everything about it. The response time is awesome when surfing the net. The features are incredible. I love the look (shimmery white) of the phone itself. And the sound quality when making a call is perfect. I have owned many different cell phones in my life from different manufacturers but none have compared to my s5. I am now a fan for life.

Love everything but the battery

The ONLY problem I have experienced so far with this phone is the battery failing me daily. I can't get through half the day without having the phone die. I have to carry a charger at all times, which is not always manageable.
I have had the S3 and S4 with no battery issues whatsoever. Even after 2 years of use.
I am extremely disappointed with the battery life on this phone.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, poor battery life

Nice, but has camera issue

Love this phone... with one exception:
Known issue with camera, must be sent to Samsung for correction. They do not provide with temp phone while fix takes place.

Great Features!

I like this phone and all its features but have a little trouble with downloading speed. It's slower than my S3, even though it's suppose to be better. I love that I can sync this phone and do everything on it that I can do on my laptop. In fact, I rarely use my laptop anymore.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

This is my first Samsung phone and I love it! Easy to set up, use, make contact, and play with! Super customizable to fit my moods and my needs. Superb right screen, too! Lightweight and easy to hold with tiring. Can't wait to add Gear and drink the Samsung Kool-aid even more!
