I have owned this phone for almost two years and enjoyed using it. Although I had some issues with some apps with it, the phone itself was great when I used it for a variety of uses, from creating apps to downloading and using them.
The size of the phone was larger than the previous Samsung Galaxy (S3), which I very much liked.
Pros: Durable, Built-in speakers

Phone worked great but battery swelled up enough to push the face of the phone up and unseal it. Now not sure what to do with old battery.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: bad battery

The Galaxy S5 is a good phone all in all. it's light weight, charges fast and has nice security features. I do have a few issues with it, one is the Peel app... I don't like it, but I cannot remove it from my device. The other issue is one of space. I have tried moving applications to the SDcard, but then I cannot access them after the phone restarts. This has meant reducing the amount of apps I have on my phone'
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Software update issues on verizon S5
on February 21, 2018

Ive owed 2 S5's. Overall I loved the phone. Only 2 down sides.
#1 was that the Camera was horrible. I never could be a decent picture with it. But i was use to not using the camera on my phones due to the issues i had with my S3.
#2 was that the phone was constantly updating. I would run an update and then it would immediately want to update again. And twice it updated and then wouldn't load passed the Verizon start up screen. The first time this happened I was able to factory reset it and start over (losing all picture, apps, and information stored on the phones memory). The second time I factory reset it and it still is locked up on the start up screen rendering the phone absolutely useless.
If it weren't for these to issues this would have been the perfect phone. The battery life was incredible compared to the S3 that i upgraded from. The display screen as usual with samsung was great. The phone was light and durable. I will miss using this phone
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: software issues, horrible camera

Great operation system to run over 100 applications that are, as defult, not able to delete. But not fast enough to glide through apps that are running without lagging the phone.
