Goodbye other brand

There's no doubt that this Samsung Galaxy s5 is the best phone I have ever owned I will probably never go back to other brand. The camera is 10 times better all of the apps seem to run faster and the biggest thing for me is the bluetooth it works flawlessly.
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: volume buttons are in an awkward location for me

I have the Samsung Galaxy 5. I have had it less than a year. I began having a lot if issues with it a month ago. Apps not working and having difficulty with phone calls. I took it to my local cell store and spent an hour on the phone with a tech. He was able to run several tests on the phone and was able to get signal, reception and call issues to where it was better. He was not able to resolve the texting issues I was having with the phone. A week later I called my provider again and got another tech as I was still having issues with the texting features. We ended up having to reset the phone to the original factory settings. I still have issues with call quality and occasional other app issues. I was told I had too many apps installed. Which was totally untrue. Even after I reset the phone to the original factory settings, I still have issues with phone calls. It's hard to hear a caller, they have issues hearing me. If I don't hold the phone close to my mouth when I talk, the caller can not understand what I am saying. I have never been so frustrated with a phone. I do not like the texting. If you misspell a word, the phone does not suggest a correct spelling. If I don't proof read all my texts before I send them, it's no telling what will end up being sent to the person. When I hold the phone close to my face when talking, it has a habit of opening up different apps that make all sorts of noise when I talk. I have to go back after a call to the task manager and close a bunch of screens that opened up while I was on a call. I had a Windows phone which got damaged. When I took it in for a replacement, I was told that one would have to be ordered. Being I couldn't go for several days without a phone, I was forced to buy a new phone which I have to make monthly payments on. What good is insurance? I have never disliked a phone so much as this one. Whether it is just a phone that is a lemon or if this is the regular operations of a phone, I don't know. There are times I just want to take the phone and throw it against a wall and be done with it. But unfortunately the month insurance fee that I have always paid on any phone I have was of no help. If this is the normal operation of this phone, I would not recommend it.

I HAVE JUST RECEIVED MY GALAXY S5. QUITE HONESTLY I WAS VERY PREPARED TO BE UNDERWHELMED. I AM SWITCHING FROM A 32G IPHONE. AT FIRST I WAS READY TO THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW BUT I HAPPEND TO REALLY LIKE THE LAYOUT OF THE SAMSUNG. ALTHOUGH VERY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I KNOW, VERY FUN, VERSATILE, AND EFFICIENT! GREAT BATTERY AND ABSOLTELY ONE OF THE BEST CAMERAS!!
