I like this phone except when on speaker phone it was almost impossible to hear the person speaking also i would like it to have the hands free mode like my samsun galaxy three had. it made it more convienent to have the phone tell me who was calling and be able to respond with voice to answer or reject..I was able to find an app that helped increase the volumn on speaker phone but it took some time to do.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, good pictures
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no hands free mode, speaker volumn on speaker phone setting
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While the Samsung Galaxy S6 is the new "top of the line" Android phone, I'm glad I opted for the S5. Even though its processor might not be quite so fast and its camera quite as amazing, it has what I really need. I'm not a heavy gamer or photographer (I'll leave those things to the experts), but I do enjoy using my phone to keep track of emails and work. I also have a large music/movie collection, so the unique features of the S5 (its replaceable battery and additional storage via a micro SD card) have more than compensated for any "advances" the S6 might offer. The only real downsides are its size (it's a very large phone, but all smartphones these days are large) and the cheap plastic case (I presume it'll be easier to replace if it breaks, but I felt the need for a good case).
I upgraded from a Samsung GS3 - Wow what improvements! I find myself turning to it more and more for vital information. The internet integration is so much better for example if I'm reading email in Yahoo and I click a link - the internet app opens up, when I'm finished, I can hit the back button and end up right back in my Yahoo email where I can delete THAT email if I'm done with it or move on. The increased screen size (physically the phone is only slightly larger but the screen size is considerably larger - much easier to read and work with documents and web pages.
Pros: Bright display, Durable

Great product for the price. Extremely easy features .
I upgraded from a Galaxy S3 to an Galaxy S5. I didn't get an S6 because I wanted a removable battery. And having the SD card made transferring photos easy. So far, it has been great. There are many new things like the fingerprint scanner for login that I didn't know about until after I bought it and that I really like. My only complaint is that the screen is still not bright enough to read in the sun. My phone came with Lollipop and I really like this version of Android.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I did 4 times warranty exchange but the problem was not fixed. In each device there was one or other software problem. Problems are like blackout screen, restart, frozen or hang screen and call drops.
