I am so glad that I switched back to Samsung. I thought I wanted to be on the iPhone bandwagon. No way! This phone does everything I need. Work, school, social. It's all wrapped up into one. I like the slim design and the bigger screen. The screen is so bright. I don't know why I ever left. I have seen the reviews regarding water. While I am scared to test it out myself it is good to know because I always drop my phone in the wrong places. The phone is really easy to use. I highly recommend this phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

At First I had an iPhone 4S for about 2 years, but I been knew the Galaxy takes good pictures-Im a fan of taking as many pictures as possible, not only that but there arent much issues when you want to play a video and specially using my own songs as ringtones I mean!! you dont need to app or anything. Overall Im very satisfied with my purchase I have no complain so far and I will definitely recommend this product to anyone. And the price with is somewhat fair. It is too big but thats because Im just used to an iPhone's size but the bigger the better when it comes to watch a good movie or just a trailer or any type of video.
My experience with Samsung phones had been a pleasant one while using the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy S4, I had my highest hopes with this new iteration of the line, for my surprise Samsung decided to go again with plastic, which doesn't bother me that much, but I was expecting a better build device this time arround. The phone (Tmobile version) came with a bug out of the box, everytime I go underground on the subway the phone would normally lose connection, which is totally normal on cell phones, problem is that tge phone will never pick up the connection after I exit the subway and go above ground unless I set the airplane mode on and off....that bothers me although it is nothing that can't be fixed with a software update (But hey, I paid for a premium device, weren't you suppossed to test it before releasing it) the front camera doesn't give you sharp images, instead it tries hard to make you use the beauty face mode and the results are washed pictures that look photoshoped. One other feature where Samsung is failing is on accesories, they claim that the device is wireless charging capable, and it is, but what good is it if you can't buy a yet to be released piece of hardware that replaces your current battery cover with a bulkier one that Samsung has no ETA on when are they going to have it in stock. They should've released this as an integrated feature like Nexus devices. On the bright side of things, there's the rear camera which is a total work of art, it takes very sharp and high quality images on a variety of modes. The HDR mode with live preview is a very good addition and the reproduction of colors on the screen (I'll talk about it in a minute) is just a pleasure to the eye. I like how Samsung decided to not include all of the bloat that was presented in previous Galaxy phones, instead they are giving the users the option to download them at their own likes. One complain I always had with previous phones was the lag they had at opening the gallery, God it used to take forever after you tapped on that icon just to get it opened, that has well improved on the S5. The screen is probably the most important aspect of this phone, just because I can say I have yet to see such a bright, beautiful and sharp screen in my life, it brings true to life colors and with their adaptive display options the device will adjust to optimal viewing settings. One extra feature that Samsung did a very good job is the water proofing, I have test this device to its limits, stuff like underwater video recording, photo taking and just showing off is a + . This phone really takes its water resistant capability very serious, I took my kids to aN indoor water park, as I was in the pool with them I was continously taking pictures and other swimmers were surprised that I didn't have a case protecting the phone yet swimming so freely and taking pics in the pool. The rear speaker doesn't give you much and its location doesn't help, but that is something I can care less since I always use headphones. The interface (TouchWiz) feels somewhat snappier than previous releases but still struggles to give us the smoother experience found in other devices that carry less cluttered interfaces. The music player is very organized and I found no drawbacks, you can stream music to wireless enabled blurry players and home theater systems straight from the music app. The messaging app is super easy going and with features like delayed message and scheduled messages makes it a top notch feature. Keyboard has a nice upgrade, it features Swipe to write which makes it very easy to use and type long paragraphs. I can't say much about the fingerprint add on, I only use it for enabling/disabling private mode.
Wrap up: It is a nice and feature rich device that is desperately asking for a new body and form factor, better rear speaker and also a lighter Touchwhiz. For first buyers the phone will be a great experience as it brings some unique options like private mode, where you can hide private content.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, feature rich., great camera.
Cons: poor build quality.

No doubt, the S5 is a very cool phone! It performs many new functions and is faster....for a while. It will take a while to get comfortable with this phone because it's so full of new stuff and some functions have changed from the previous Galaxy. I don't like the way Gallery works now. Too confusing. Larger screen size is nice. Overall I guess it's a pretty nice high end phone. Just wish it was a bit more user friendly. The Gallery thing really bugs me. It's a shame for a phone with such a high end camera.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

The phone has yet to give me any problems, I like the look of it, although I wish I could've had the blue one, I have white, I think it looks better than black or gold!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: expensive

I love the Samsung Galaxy S5!! It's perfect for everything. I upgraded from an iPhone 5, I'll never look back. Great battery life, awesome apps. I absolutely love the MILK music app among all the others.
