Love this phone!

I was a loyal iPhone owner for years, until my phone kept over heating and crashing. I traded the phone in for the galaxy s5, and I'm in love! It takes better photos, has a better screen, and you can increase the memory. I am not disappointed!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I am so in awe of the Galaxy S5! This phone has so many features, that it's hard to put it down. I couldn't begin to say which is my favorite, because I love them all. Especially the fingerprint scanner. Had the Galaxy 3 before this one and didn't think, it could be outdone... Oh, but Samsung! I also have Galaxy Tab 2 and 3, and they flow together, effortlessly.

Great features but battery charges slow and drains fast

I love this phone, it has all the wonderful features of the S4 plus a security addition to list 3 contacts to call in the event of an emergency. However, even using the power saving mode the battery drains very fast and with the ultra power save you can barely use the phone so this is only useful when you have no charger around and are on your last leg of power. The factory provided charger charges the phone very slow (takes about 8 hours to bring it from 50% to full charge, which depending on how aggressively you are using this phone's features it can drain from full power to under 20% in a little over an hour, but the multifeature function is smooth and their really isn't anything else to complain about except that it is extremely expensive and when doing the cost benefit between the S4 and the S5 do I really d=need 4000K and added emergency safety contacts THAT badly?

Cons: battery life and recharge rate

I love my s5. It is my first smartphone, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I love it! It is quite durable, has been dropped quite a bit without screen breaking. Though, like all texhnology, it does sometimes glitch. The keyboard occasionally won't work prperly, but all I have to do is lock and unlock it.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

I've had this phone for about 3 weeks now and I love it . I would have given a 5 on everything, except the phone does have some problems. (What phone doesnt). For example, but not limited to, TouchWiz home won't let me change the way I swipe from page to page. I want to change it to card stack but I'm stuck on the other one and it won't let me change it to none either. It just tells me TouchWiz home has stopped working. Other than the small tweaks.. amazing phone. Very happy, but could be more so.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, software problems

I upgraded from the Galaxy 3. This is a near perfect device. You're going to need a SD card, 16 GB is too small to handle memory. Can be glitchy when hard drive fills up. Screen is very responsive. Color display is amazing and sharp. Sound is good. Camera is much better, and takes great photos. Happy customer. Just some minor tweaks are needed.

I absolutely love this phone. It's my third Galaxy. I have recommended it to my friends. Especially those thinking of replacing their other operating system phone. The camera is phenomenal, ease of operation great. The only issue I have experienced is screen freezing. However this may be due to applications, not the phone.
