Looks great, but has design flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1) The door in a door feature really needs a firm closing. I'm at fault for sometimes not doing this. The result is that the door in a door can remain slightly open until your error is found! I'm really hoping that the latch that fastens the door in a door does not give up the ghost as it sounds a bit weak.
2) The ice and water feature in the freezer door is poorly designed. Each and every guest who uses these items always gets it wrong with the result being water all over my wood floor. I can't wait until winter. I will shut off both the water and ice dispenser until warm weather returns.

Love the door in door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge about two or three months ago and I absolutely love it. For being a counter depth fridge it has so much room. It did take me a while to get use to the outside water for it is an awkward position. Absolutely hands down love it and would recommend to anyone needing a fridge. It was well worth waiting for!!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our K Elite fridge broken in less than 1 year, we hurriedly ordered this counter-depth fridge in Home Depot, and it was delivered in two days. The fridge is very quiet and very convenient. We do not have to open the entire door to get milk and juice because it has a door in door. It has plenty room in both freezer and fridge sides. The door is big enough and I can put water bottles, juice and milk all in, still have a big enough room inside the fridge. Unlike this other fridge, this LG makes ice cubes quickly and efficiently. I like side by side refrigerator so this LG fits my needs perfectly.

Very limited ice making capacity. If you have a large family I would avoid this LG product because of that. We have to buy bags of ice at the store to use as a backup.
