Great ease of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The slow cooker works well, and the lid is convenient for keeping it covered and moving the kid out of the way. The hinge does seem a little flimsy, being made of plastic, and like it may break after limited use. The base was also not fully finished, as one of the rounded edges at the top was rolled under and scratched my finger. I was offered this slow cooker to demo.
I would recommend this to a friend!

High capacity, quick cooking, hinged crock pot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hinged crock pot is a great capacity and exceptionally well made. The hinged lid goes on and off quite easily and is a nice unique feature. Would love to see a latch in the future and underneath cabinets the lid could be too tall but a great product at a great price. Highly recommended, the capacity and cooking capability is top notch.
Pros: hinged lid, high capacity, high quality, quick cooking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this hinged lid slow cooker for several weeks now and have had nothing but great experiences. My husband used it first to make boiled peanuts. He was happy to find that both of his bags of peanuts fit. This is a nice large sized crock pot. He loved the hinged lid, he said it made it very easy to go and stir the peanuts. We also like how the lid easily removed, for cleaning. This crock pot has a very sleek design, and looks great sitting on our countertop. Disclaimer: I received this crock pot as a sample to review.
Pros: the hinged lid!

I love my new slow cooker, the rim of the lid has a runner seal to help keep all the juices in and it's on a hinge too!

Decent basic slow cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent basic slow cooker that's easy to use. The hinged lid is much more useful and convenient than I anticipated. I made a butternut squash, carrot & onion soup in it and the hinged lid helped me to keep the contents from splattering when I used my stick blender to combine the ingredients into a puree by simply tilting the lid slightly forward. Regrettably, there is no digital display or timer so if these features are important to you, you'll want to look elsewhere. However, if you don't need a timer or digital display, this is a decent value. Disclaimer: I received this as a review sample but the opinions given here are my own.
Pros: hinged lid is handier than i expected.
Cons: no digital display or timer

I have used slow cookers for many years for the ease of cooking dinner and the problem I have is where do I put the lid want to take it off and having the water drip from the lid everywhere and burning my hand. I highly recommend this product. I did receive the hinged slow cooker as a sample product to review.

This product is a great size & has good features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This crockpot is a great simple crockpot, 1 which I would recommend. However, with that said, there are a few things that could make it better - but these things would not be deal breakers in my eyes - because it is an attractive crockpot, it is very durable, & it cooks extremely well. Another benefit about this crockpot is the size. I've tried other slightly smaller crockpots - but since I've used this size, I will probably always continue to use this size - it's perfect for any slow cooked meal. It's also much easier to clean than I had anticipated (because of the hinged lid feature), but the hinged lid easily slides in and out & is super easy to install and take out, as well as to clean. It's also nice that it stays propped up when or if you need to open the lid & stir meal during cooking process! Unlike other crockpots, this hinged lid crockpot has a rubber seal as well around the lid, so it helps to seal the lid when you close it (but there is also a down side to this which I will explain in a moment). Now for the downfalls - 1st, I wish the cord was about 2-3 inches longer. Also, it doesn't have a light showing that the crock pot has been powered on, or that it's hot- so when you initially turn the knob to low or high setting, you may wonder if it's actually working initially, so that could be improved. The last thing about this crockpot, which isn't that bad, but it kind of surprised me - when you open the lid during the cooking process (to stir the food inside), when you go to close it, as you push the lid down so it seals closed (because of the rubber seal), the back part of the lid (near the hinged section) actually raises slightly, so I had to push the back of the lid down by the hinged section (& of course it's hot from cooking). But it does easily push down after it kind of rises, so this is not a problematic thing - just maybe something that could be improved. Overall, I would recommend this crockpot, because besides the few minor cons I've listed, it really is a good crockpot, the pros definitely outweigh those cons. I received this crockpot as a sample to review, but will absolutely continue to use it especially due to its size, durability, & how well it cooks (although it's not programmable, so I will have to make sure I'm available to change settings or turn it off when necessary).
Pros: size, hinged lid with rubber seal & handle, durability, appearance
Cons: short power cord, no power-on or "hot" light, hinged part of lid should probably fit tighter

Nice features but missing pieces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was dissapointed when I received my crock pot. There was a screw missing from the handle and it made the handle almost useless. I received this crock pot to review and I liked the features but not being able to use the handle ruined it for me. I received the crock pot for free to test and review

Cons: missing hardware
