A perfect addition to any kitchen!

I am really enjoying this product. I can't believe that it has not been a staple in my house...everyone should own one. The blender/chopper is a beautiful pearl burgundy red color. It is super easy to use. Just attach the motor to either the chopper or blender. Then the fun begins. So far my favorite thing to make with the blender is shakes. The cup makes the perfect serving with left overs. I really like the dual purpose lid that also functions as a skid proof base. So I can easily store my leftovers. With the chopper, making salsa has never been easier. No more buying salsa from the store. Only fresh from now on! I like the variable speed, so I can choose how much things are diced, chopped, or pulverized. The unit is very durable. My only complaint is that I worry that the lids are too thin and might break easily. Although it hasn't happened yet. Again, I would highly recommend this and think everyone should have it in their kitchen! I received this product as a sample in exchange for an honest review.

The Oster immersion blender has been a reliable small kitchen appliance for everyday use. I have owned the blender for about a month and have used it to purée sauce/soups and also as a blending tool for small jobs. I like that I can use the blender on its own or with the processor attachment, a feature my previous hand blender did not have. I have used the processor to chop a small onion and make homemade salsa with no problems. I would recommend this product for small everyday tasks such as to purée soups, chop small amounts of vegetables and to make single serving milkshakes.

I love the look and features of this product. I love the chopper option and the ease of use with the different attachments. I love how easy and quick it makes creating a shake and how well it blends everything together. To super convenient to clean up and use again, much better than cleaning an entire blender every day. However, at times the main attachment does not slide in easily and I have to finagle it to connect securely. The quality also just feels a little cheap, but I suppose it is a cheaper brand, so it should be a good product for the value. I've had a white one of these before and it didn't seem as flimsy, however. The plastic just seems slightly cheap. Overall though, it should do a great job for what it's made for.

"I really like this immersion blender and chopper. Worked really well. Had a lot of power to blend well. The color is nice but not a true red more pinkish red. I really like the cup part that comes with it to be able to make smoothies easily."

Great blender at a great price

this is a nice blender. It has a good feel in the hand and is easy to grasp and control. The color is nice as well. It had decent power and made some smooth butternut squash bisque in seconds. Easy to clean and easy to store. Much more convenient than a blender or food processor

I received the Oster 2 Speed Immersion Hand Blender with Food Chopper Attachment as a sample to test. Firstly, out of the box it looked very sturdy and seemed to be of good quality. It included the hand blender which has a 250-watt motor, a mixing/measuring cup and a 3-cup chopper attachment with lids. The hand blender has different speeds (high and low) settings for different types of food and consistencies.
I have used the blender for about 1 week for different kitchen prep. I have made mashed potatoes, different fruit smoothies and I also mashed different vegetables (squash and zucchini) for my 3 year old son who doesn’t like to chew his vegetables and prefers them as purees.
I liked how easy it was to mash up the potatoes and veggies and I was impressed how easy and fast I was able to make fruit smoothies for my family. Since everyone likes different fruits in their smoothies I have spent a lot of time cleaning blenders in between making the smoothies in the past, but with the Oster immersion hand blender I was able to make 3 different fruit mixed smoothies for my family in under 10 minutes - fruit in a cup, blending and rinsing it off and on to the next; No scrubbing blender cups and blades etc.
I have also used the chopper attachment to chop fresh zucchini for home made spinach/zucchini muffins. The chopper blades are very strong and chopped the zucchini into small little pieces in no time which cut down my prep time for the muffins by at least 10 minutes. My old food chopper used to get stuck all the time but this powerful food chopper attachment had no problems.
Cleaning the blender and its attachments was also very easy. It is small to store and overall a great hand blender that I can highly recommend. Overall it is a great product!

I absolutely love the design of the handle, the color, the chopper and blending cup. They are wonderful features that set this blender above and beyond others. The performance was awesome and it created a food with perfect texture every time without having to work to achieve it. This blender was above and beyond what I expected. I am very excited to continue to use it and I think it will be a consistent feature in my kitchen. The one thing that stood out as a negative was the spot where the blending attachment connected to the handle was made from a thinner plastic. I had no issues with it and hope that I never will but it was something I wish was a little bit of a thicker plastic.
I received this product as a sample to review.
