I bought this to replace my Black and Decker that burned out. I love the ease of putting it together as well as cleaning it out! It was so easy to use. I made Oreo balls for Christmas and with the mix button, I didn’t have to transfer my cookie crumbs to a mixer!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can't really complain about my food processor. It does a nice job. I do wish it was easier to clean. A few years ago manufacturers were making more blades than they do now. I wish that would change so that I could buy more accessories. Mine really does a nice job chopping and shredding. The only thing I haven't tried is slicing tomato's with it yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Waste of money

I used this processor all of three times, and now it doesn't even turn on despite it being assembled correctly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Enclosed part on lid

The enclosed part of the lid where the shoot is at, every time I grate cheese it gets stuck in there. I soak it, swish it, use my spray nozzle and still the cheese is stuck inside of it. My husband manages (not easy) to take it apart to get the cheese out. VERY frustrating!!

Broke after couple uses

I only used it a couple times before the little plastic piece on the cup broke so it won’t close. The processor won’t turn on unless it’s locked in but I can’t lock it in. Total waste of money.

Poor quality

I bought my Oster a year ago and used it to prep plantain dough for a vegan dish. When my taste testers tried the dish they bit into hard plastic pieces in the dish. I wasn't sure were the plastic pieces were from. I at first thought it was from the chicken soy meat. My entire batch of 5 dozen pasteles had to be discarded. The dish had to be cooked for 1hr so we found out once the testers tried them. Today I found the culprit. This was my fourth time using my Oster so I was both shocked and disappointed.

Less than a year old and the plastic on the bowl is broken. I’ve treated this item gently and it just hasn’t held up. Very disappointed. Expected more.

you get what you pay for

This last me about a year and is probably one of the least expensive food processors on the market. It is impossible to get the top bit clean and food gets stuck in it regularly. Like most other consumers, the top plastic toggle broke and it is now completely unusable as the top is not sold as a separate piece. Would I buy this product again? No, of course not. Would I recommend it to other people? Only if one can't afford a higher quality product.
