Love this food processor!

This Oster is very light, easy to move and lift, and very stylish looking. Its base is roughly 7” by 7”, and it’s about 16” tall. It has four small suction cups hold it in place but they do let loose fairly frequent. So you have to moisten them and press down firmly. It has a nice large-capacity bowl and the unit comes apart for cleaning. I love that the piece that you push food in with also doubles as a measuring cup. I have read reviews from others stating that the processor doesn't chop or puree uniformly but I have not had this issue personally. Overall, this is a great value and I am very pleased with it.

The Oster 10 cup food processor is a quality product. It was easy to assemble. I liked the fact that the plastic container is BPA Free. I liked the various options available including, chopping and kneading of dough.
It chops different food items well, such as vegetables and nuts. I used it to chop vegetables for soups and different recipes, and it was so much easier then hand chopping. The food was chopped perfectly, not too large or too small. Clean up was easy, and I appreciate the fact that some parts can be put into the dishwasher. Overall I would give this product a high rating. It is of high quality and easy to use.

Broke!

We purchased this food processor in May 2018 and just after a few months and no more than 10 uses, the piece of plastic broke off the cup which pushes down on that part of the base, after the cup is locked in. It is unusable now. When it did work, it worked well. We used it according the directions and took good care of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received this product to try for free in my home. I have been pleasantly surprised by it. I have to admit I was very skeptical about using it. The brand name is familiar, but the weight of the product had me concerned. I just didn't think it would be able to handle my needs. I've tried very hard to put this thing to an early grave. Why wouldn't I? It was free and I don't want just any item taking up space on my counter. Like most, counter space is prime real estate! I've used this for just about every vegetable known to mankind, whizzed through them like butter. The challenge I thought for sure would take it down was sugar cookie dough. That's right, this machine mixed the cookie dough up like it was made for it. I love the dough blade. I will be making more homemade cookies for sure. My issues with it not being tough enough were put to rest with the sugar cookies. I have been through so many hand mixers because cookie dough is so rough on them. Sure, a stand mixer would be great, but that doesn't help with shredding or slicing. That would leave me with needing 2 countertop appliances and I just don't have that kind of space! This food processor is fairly easy to clean. I say fairly simply because I don't have a dishwasher so I have to wash everything by hand. I would imagine that with a dishwasher, cleaning would be a breeze. It's easy to set up and use. Super easy to be honest. To be quite honest, the only thing I wish were different about this product is; 1. If it had a paddle/beater for whipping cream and 2. It came with more food receptacles so I could switch them out instead of washing the one it comes with every time I switch to a different vegetable that I want to use the food processor for while preparing a meal. If you are considering this particular machine, I highly recommend that you do, my suggestion would be to refrigerate any softer cheeses you might want to shred. The machine suggests harder cheeses, but I've found that it will do softer ones if they are well chilled. This is one product definitely worth time and space on my counter. I'm looking forward to discovering new ways to use it. It's made prep time much shorter which means more time for my family. It also makes cooking a little more enjoyable. Which for me, I didn't think was possible.

Unlike the other reviewers, I was NOT given this product for free to write a review. However, I will say that it is worth every penny I spent on it. Easy to use, easy to clean, and the dough blade attachment is a definite bonus. This machine has saved me from dropping hundreds of dollars on a stand mixer - it does everything I need it to do and more.

The Oster Total Prep 10-Cup Food Processor is very powerful - it made very quick work of chopping chicken and sliced vegetables paper thin in no time at all. It is sleek, stylish looking, and is relatively compact considering its capacity and how much it can do. This model is packed with tons of safety features to make sure you keep all your fingers. Cleanup is super easy - just rinse the parts and put them on the top rack of the dishwasher. A nice feature that I didn't plan on was the cord storage in the bottom of the unit - I have a lot of small appliances with cords that don't store as easily.
I received this product as a sample to review, but I would definitely buy it for someone as a gift. It's great!!

Let's start with ease of use with the different blades easy to put on and remove. five stars easy. The cord storage is wonderful I think all product should have this feature deserves 10 stars just for that. I made carrot raisin salad for dinner several times now usually takes 15 to 20 minutes for me to make it took all of three minutes. I also have done Pizza a few times and well it is great also saves me lots of time I would recommend this product to anyone who cooks a lot. I received this product to review but it is better than That I have said. Try it you know you are going to love it.

I love this food processor. I use it EVERYDAY!!! The dough blade is the best part of this food processor! It takes all the work out of making and kneading dough! So easy. Just put in your ingredients and the machine does everything else!! It makes the most tender dough. I love how easy it is to operate. It is big enough for all my cooking needs. Super easy clean up. The best food processor I've ever had and I've had them all! I was given this product as a sample for me to test out and review. I promise you this food processor is worth every penny!
