[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacing GE built in refrigerator after it failed within weeks of moving into a new home. Few choices for this size refrigerator with a water/ice dispenser in the door. The similar size Kitchen Aid built in carries a better customer rating and has unique features for slightly higher price. The kitchen Aid unit installs into the same space with a better fit and look. Vet happy with this switch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago. Sleek looking, great capacity,does not make noise. I like it’s white interior. Temperature control panel is great. My previous refrigerator was by kitchen aid also. We had it for 25 years. And it was still working good.

Cheaply made

We’re into our 5th year with this fridge and it’s given us nothing but problems (previous Frigidaire lasted 12 years problem free). Don’t know if it’s indicative of all KitchenAid Fridge’s but ours started falling apart at the 3 year mark. Drawer faces broke off from typical opening of drawers (that were neither heavy nor overfilled). Had crazy glued them back on but still keep falling apart. Hard to clean too as food particles get trapped between the overlapping flimsy plastic. Ice maker motor just stopped dispensing ice and we developed a crack between the inside fridge facing the freezer causing constant water leakage and ice to build up on the left side of our fridge that needs constant mopping up. Would never buy a a Kitchenaid again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 2001 KitchenAid built in finally went out and they no longer made the part to fix it. Bought new one and it took awhile to get it delivered. It's nice but I have noticed that when I close the door the door to the freezer side seems to lose its seal. So I have to make sure to press the freezer door shut also. Also this model did not allow for cabinet panels to be added. The stainless steel does look nice but now I have to change my Double oven and Mircowave to match.
I would recommend this to a friend!
