The lighting inside is very bright and the shelves are glass and easy to clean .
The ice maker is perfect and I don't miss my old Kitchen Aid as much as I thought I would.

We renovated our entire kitchen from the ground up. We went with Bosch for an induction top and double wall oven but when it came to the fridge, this 42" model looked like it would meet our needs. We are so glad we chose this Kitchenaid refrigerator. It's a clean, beautiful design. It works as advertised and the space is fantastic. We originally planned for a 36" counter depth fridge but for a family of four, those are tiny inside. We changed up the design and upgraded once seeing this model at the store.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great look and layout

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the separate ice and water dispenser and the ice maker in the door allows more freezer storage. The shelves and door storage in refrigerator side are very roomy. The handles on the door have a great heavy duty feel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a larger built in frig in my new home and this one is perfect. I love the extra space in both the frig and freezer. The shelves are perfectly spaced yet adjustable. The ice maker is quiet yet the water doesn't drip down the door.

A nice update to my old refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a 14 year old model of the same refrigerator that decided to quit and there were no replacement parts! So far this is a slight improvement over the older model. The LED lights give off a glare, and they don't seem to light the interior equally. It does seem to have more space, but not sure it is bigger. It runs quietly and I like the new handles...they keep people from leaving so many prints on the surface of the refrigerator. I found it quite an expensive item, but had no options as this is a built in model...therefore the 4 out of 5 stars. It is really quite similar to my 14 year old refrigerator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Our New Replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We finally got our new Kitchen Aid 42" Built-in Side by Side Refrigerator delivered and couldn't be more excited. This is a replacement for a similar Dacor, which has been nothing but a money pit for the last several years. We got a total of 10 years use out of it with many repairs. Our new fridge is extremely well designed and seems much more spacious than the Dacor. It's very user friendly, quiet and looks great! I highly recommend Kitchen Aid based on our experience so far.
