When one opens the lid or cover of this Philips muticooker, it flips back in a incline of 45 degrees . Even when one tries to push it to 90 degrees upright position became impossible. What it means, every time you are putting the pot in and out of the cooker, it would be in contact with the metal surface inside the lid and cause scratches. On top of that it makes very awkward for putting the pot in and out of the cooker. On the instruction booklet, it never mention what material was used to coat the inner surface of the cooking pot. people would like to know this fact. Even though we follow the cleaning instruction of using the soft sponge,we notice there is a tiny white spot at the bottom-a defect?
Pros: a good rice cooker, nice outside appearence
Cons: design of the lip or cover, after starting cookingthe keep warm light is on, a few time a harden surface of rice formed
I would recommend this to a friend!
