had same thing that we bought a couple years ago. it worked fine until the crock cracked. bought this new one today. right out of the box the lid doesn't fit right. everything considered after reading reviews, its going back and we'll try a different brand. the lid doesn't even fit correctly in the styrofoam packing. with all the cracks mentioned in reviews, you should cease production and do some testing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Big is good!

I've had this 7 quart Crock Pot for 2 years and use it at least once a week during the fall & winter months and at least once a month in the spring and fall. I love that it automatically goes to the Keep Warm setting as some days I don't get home until late. This prevents my meal from burning.
I pulled it out yesterday to cook a whole chicken and was saddened to see the crock has a huge crack running from the top lip in the middle of the crock all the way down the side and across the whole bottom. Now I can't find a replacement crock online. :-(
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this pot for less than 6 months and my crock is cracked. They do not sell a replacement as far as I can tell. Very disappointed! I have 8 slow cookers and this is the first cracked crock I have ever had! I even have my first crock pot from 15 years ago and no cracks. Pile of expensive junk!

I have had this crock pot for about 3 years. I loved it but the last time I used it the
crock cracked. And now reading other reviews this seems to happen with others.
I love this one because of the different temps you can use. But now to know that it cracked and no replacement I am very disappointed. :(

Received last week. Immediately made the stuffed peppers from the 365 day cookbook. Pot was big enough to hold 3 peppers cut in half. Cooked evenly and didn't dry out or burn. Went directly to warm. Love it.

Cook Temps Way Off

Temps are way off. Cannot cook potatoes or rice. Tried making soup recipes - one with potatoes and one with with rice - that I have made many times before in my old cooker - after 9/8 hours potatoes and brown rice were almost raw while meat was overcooked and thus dry. Tried using it last night just to make mulled wine. After 1 hour on high the top of the crock was hot but the bottom was stone cold. Had to transfer everything to a stock pot and cook on stove to save the party. So disappointed.
