We used this once or twice a week for a few months. Worked great and never had issues until now when the crock got a big crack in it from half of bottom and up the side.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was really excited to get this Crock-Pot and it worked great until the stoneware cracked from the top left side to the bottom. I grew up with slow cookers and I have never seen this happen before. This was my first Crock-Pot I bought when I moved away from home, and unfortunately I can no longer use it.

NOT IMPRESSED!

I'm not impressed with this Crock-Pot at all! I paid extra for this one because my husband liked the feature of being able to program in the cook time manually. He just used it for the first time, the other night, to cook white beans. After cooking for 8 hrs, the beans weren't even nearly done. He had to finish cooking them on the stove.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Dried beans should be boiled before adding to a recipe, especially red kidney beans. Cover the beans with 3 times their volume of unsalted water and bring to a boil. Boil 10 minutes, reduce heat, cover and allow to simmer 1 1/2 hours or until beans are tender. Soaking in water, if desired, should be completed before boiling. Discard water after soaking or boiling. For additional assistance, please feel free to contact us using the link below. For faster response time, we encourage you to live chat with us at the link below from 8:00am to 8:00pm, EST, Monday thru Saturday. You will need to click the Live Chat icon.

The word "programmable" is a very loose term.

Your choices for "programming " are either 4 or 6 hours on High OR 8 or 10 hours on low. I went to use it for the first time today and wanted 6 hours on low. Very disappointed

Thank you for leaving your review. The model you are leaving this review on actually does have a more customizable programmable timer, so perhaps your model is actually a different type. In any sense, we appreciate your feedback, and will be glad to forward your thoughts to our product development team for review. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This crock pot is so handy, I would be lost without it. I use it at least once every week. Right now I can smell the brisket that is cooking in my pot and it is making me hungry. I use it for family meals, soups and yes, even deserts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this as a wedding gift and have used it so much! Great size for the two of us to get a meal, but I still have leftovers for the next night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could give this zero stars. I received this as a replacement for the Safe crock pot that burnt everything no matter what setting you use. I have attempted to use this crock pot twice and am experiencing the same issues. No matter what setting I use, burnt to a crisp is how my food comes out. I cannot afford to continue to trust this brand. I attempted to upload a video but the option would not work using my phone. The video showed that the cooker was on low and the gravy was literally boiling. Even on high, it shouldn't boil.

Hello!

On your slow cooker, both High and Low stabilize at the same temperature 209°F; it is just a matter of how long it takes to reach the simmer point.

The unit can also boil on High and Low. We do recommend that you always fill your slow cooker 1/2 - 3/4 of the way full, including at least one cup of liquid or sauce. You may have to adjust your cook times accordingly, especially if you are using older slow cooker recipes, or adapting regular recipes for slow cooker use. This will prevent the food from drying out and burning.

If you have any more questions or concerns, please reach out to us via https://www.crock-pot.com/support/contact-us or through LiveChat. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9 am -5 pm Eastern Time.

Thank you and please stay safe!
