We bought this about a month ago after dropping our last Crock -Pot. It has a 4&6 hour setting for cooking on High and a 8&10 hour setting to cook on Low. On the low setting, it cooks WAY too hot and will dry all the meat to jerky if you turn it on when you leave for work and come home 8 hours later.
I just did a 1.7# pork tenderloin and it was done to an internal temp of 150F in just over 2 hours! I'm glad I was home and thought to check it when the smell of dinner came from the kitchen.
Right now I have a beef roast in there and set it on low for 8 hours. It warms up right away. I turned it on 75 minutes ago and have the roast and veggies in there. The roast started at fridge temp and is now at 95F. The ceramic pot is at 230, the outside handles are 95F and the stainless outside of the Crock Pot is at 165F! Yes, do NOT accidentally touch the stainless outside when you move it.
Pros: we love the 7 quart size
Cons: outside is way too hot, seems to cook things too fast

A step backward

I just purchased this crock -pot and am very disappointed. I wanted the feature that it goes to warm when it's done. But I had no idea the warming base would be so hot to touch. Most other slow cookers have this area not getting as hot. I wont be able to use this again. I've just taken a huge step backward in technology. I would not recommend this product at all.

I bought this a month or so ago and have used it a few times. It does really well on all settings and food cooks fairly evenly. Clean up is easy (i had been worried about the stainless steel). The locking feature surprised me. It has a sort of double lock system and it doesn't rub uncomfortably on your hands when using the handles.
I also purchased the Crock Pot bag and it first PERFECTLY! For the low prise I was surprised how nicely the two fit together. I HIGHLY recommend bundling both

I had another slow cooker which I burned up. I did not think I could do it, or it could be done, but it happened. I left ribs in it, overnight. What a mess it was to try to clean up. After a week I gave up. This slow cooker is a bit bigger (my old one was 6 quarts) and I am still learning about cooking times for things I had previously cooked in the other one (a tri tip roast did not fair as well in the other one. It got over cooked), but for the most part it is great.

I bought this and everything worked great then all of a sudden I noticed liquid on my counter when I would use it. I looked at the crockpot and it had a crack straight down the center. If the stone ware could be fixed this would be a great crockpot.

Worked great, then one day just quit!

I've had this crock pot for a year or two. One day, I was cooking something & the crock pot kept flashing the power select button like my power had gone out or something. I kept turning it back on the 4 hr setting & it kept doing it. I tried to "reset" it like the website suggests, but that didn't work either. I decided to see if it would work today, and now it won't even turn on! Very disappointed in this product!

I got this as a Christmas gift. I have another slow cooker of a different brand and the stone doesn't move at all. I love the timer on this but the crock itself moves a couple of inches all around in the pot.
