I RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS CROCKPOT TO REPLACE AN OLDER MODEL CROCKPOT. I LIKE THE PROGRAMMABLE FEATURE ON THIS CROCKPOT AND IT LOOKS NICE WHILE IT IS COOKING. THE ONLY THING ABOUT IT IS I WISH IT WAS AN 8 QT. INSTEAD OF A 6 QT. MY OLD CROCKPOT DID NOT HAVE ANY INFORMATION THAT IDENTIFIED SIZE. I ASSUMED IT TO BE A 6 QT., BUT IT IS MUCH BIGGER THAN THIS NEW ONE. FOR SOME DISHES, I NEED AN 8 QT. IN RED. I CHECKED ON YOUR WEB PAGE AND YOU DON'T SHOW ONE.

I love my crockpot.

I have loved this crockpot so much. However, I've somehow cracked the pottery piece (I have a ceramic sink, so I likely dropped it a few inches while washing it), and even though it's a very tiny leak into the heating element, it still needs to be replaced. I love this crock pot enough that I'm buying another pot for it!

The Crock breaks and they do not sell replacements

I've seen it all through the reviews. Within a year to three years the crock gets a crack and they do not sell replacements. We use this crock pot a lot in the winter. I feel this should last more than 3 years. I will not buy another as they do not support their product with replacements.

It is so nice to put the food in, set it and once the set time is up it automatically goes to the warm setting. Very easy and convenient. Everyone should own this Crock Pot.

Never gets very hot

Ever since I started using this slow cooker, it never got hot enough to really cook food..even when setting is on high! Very dissapointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has been a great addition to our kitchen! It is wonderful to be able to throw something in it, set the timer, and go to work. When we get home, we have a healthy, hot meal already made. No last minute "what's for dinner?", or "I'm hungry". This crockpot is especially great on the nights we have a million things going on. Everyone can eat at different times if needed.
I also use this with the Crock-Pot liners! EVEN BETTER!

Lid EXPLODED

I have never heard of this happening before, but the picture attached is proof -- the lid of our pot spontaneously exploded.
We had cooked a pork roast as directed -- 8 hours on low. My husband checked it at the end of the cooking time, lifting the lid to look inside, and then setting it to "keep warm" until I arrived home from work.
About 10 minutes later he heard a loud "pop" and then the sound of something hitting the floor. The lid of the Crockpot had exploded, dropping broken glass into the pot as well as all over the counter top and the floor. One of the latches was also propelled onto the floor.
Some of the pieces of glass are like small splinters – we’re still running the vacuum and wiping with damp paper towels to try and get it all picked up before we or one of our pets is injured.
The lid has never been dropped or used in a way not recommended by the manufacturer.
I was planning to just purchase a replacement lid because I use the pot often, but now I am leery of even purchasing another model of this brand.

Outside gets too hot

I purchased this product a few years ago. My food seems to cook okay but the outside get so hot you can't touch it even on the low setting. I do not like to turn it on unless I am home for fear of it burning something.
