Broken after 2 years!

We received this crockpot as a gift two years ago. Worked great, although, yes it it does cook at higher temperatures but I really enjoyed that feature. Was very disappointed when just the other day I went to plug in this crockpot and it did not turn on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would think they would support at least replacement stoneware and lids for this model.

I thought it was just me but it seems it doesn't matter what recipe I use or any tweaks I make this crock cooks way too hot. Most recently I cooked a 7lb pork butt for pulled pork with only about a 1/4 to 1/2cup of liquid. The recipe called for 10-12 hours on low. I smelled it cooking and luckily woke to find it boiling again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
