Disappointed

Wish I had my 16-year-old machine back. Last Whirlpool I will purchase. Water temp. is always cool, no matter what temp. you select. I should have the option of HOT water if I need that. Uses too much water for even very small loads. The auto sensing for water level gives you no control. Look out on the spin cycle if it gets unbalanced! Wish I could return it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All settings deliver cold water washes except the "hot" setting---that's lukewarm. Am currently waiting for the repairman to install a couple parts in hopes of fixing this problem.Disappointed in the spin cycle's results; clothes not near as "spun out" as my last washer.

WASHER

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF SETTING IS ON WARM OR HOT, WATER IS ALWAYS COLD. TEMPERATURE SETTING DOESN'T WORK. I READ THE MANUAL AND UNDERSTAND WATER IS COOLER ON THIS WASHER THAN ON PREVIOUS ONES BUT IT SHOULD NOT ALWAYS BE COLD.

Not a very good washer

Had this washer for a little over a month now, and I must say it is a very peculiar washing machine. Some of the noises emanating from it can be startling. The biggest problem is when I use the "NORMAL"/"REGULAR" cycle. The washer will fill and wash normally ( and I use that term loosely), then drain and spin. At this point I would expect it to fill and agitate again to rinse the wash load, but only about a quart or so of water goes in, and then it immediately goes into its final spin cycle. No agitation, no rinse. So now I have to run the separate "RINSE"/'SPIN' cycle to rinse out the wash load. With the above issue, and some of the noises this thing makes, I do not expect this machine to last more than a year, and that may be a good thing in the long run......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very disappointed as clothes do not get clean - I am having to spray almost every piece of clothing with Shout Out or wash each load twice to get clothes to come out clean.

Does not handle low water pressure well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a lifetime of using Whirlpool washers and Kenmore variations this model is a great disappointment! We have low water pressure and the machine will begin filling. After about 7 minutes it aborts the fill cycle and goes to the wash cycle and PUMPS OUT the water (and the soap) then hangs in "Wash" mode until we cancel the cycle and restart the entire process! Sometimes the restart will allow the fill cycle an extended time and the wash will complete. Other times it may require several cancel/restarts to finish the process. I would think that in this day and age of micro controllers that this problem could be handled more gracefully and without "operator intervention". You could do better.
