[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It replaced a much more expensive front loader that had a malfunctioning door sensor after only 5 years. This new Whirlpool washer was cheaper than a repair. So glad I got it. Big enough to wash a large comforter too and no moldy door rim ever again. When I close the laundry room I do not hear any noise from machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new washing machine for about 2 months now and am very pleased with performance. My only complaint is about the lid lock. I would prefer that it not have this feature. I like to able to easily open the lid when needed without interrupting the cycle.

Saying Goodbye, Then Saying Hello.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We said goodbye to a 20 year old washer and brought this one home. Not only is it much quieter, it uses less energy and water. I love that the lid locks for the spin cycle and the laundry comes out much much drier that it ever did in our old washer which means our dryer now uses less energy. It's a win win! This washer even tells me when it's done so I never have to wonder or stress about that anymore. Nothing but good things to say about this unit and the price wasn't bad either. Here's to 20 years with my new washer!

Good Washer For The Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't want any bells or whistles, but it is missing a couple of features that I wish I had like my old washer. I HATE the lid lock. I want to open the lid when I want. I HATE it that the water stops running when I open the lid while it's filling. I like to add the detergent while the washer is filling so it is diluted properly. I needed to adjust a load in mid-wash, and could not open the lid. I finally had to unplug the darn thing to get the lid open.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Washing Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a Whirpool on the advice of my repairman. He said to buy one with a full sized agitator as the others are promlematic. I purchased this one and have been well pleased. No problems at all. My clothes are clean and I don't notice the noise as it is located in a room off the kitchen. It's simple and straightforward. I highly recommend this washer!
