[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer seems to work okay, although a normal cycle takes longer than my previous Kenmore washer. Also, my downstairs neighbor hears the "Sensing Fill" buzzing.

Worked great until it didn't

Purchased this unit in January 2024 - I've had it 18 months and the control panel is bad. I am so disgusted. It'll cost just as much to fix it as I paid for it. I'm six months out of the warranty period and I didn't get the extended because in my past experience with such extended warranties, the techs they contract with aren't great. And most importantly, I assumed (incorrectly) that I wouldn't have issues for a few years. I bought a Whirlpool because I thought I would get some longevity and I got this unit especially because it was less fussy than my previous unit. Super unhappy that I have to go shopping for another washer so soon; unless I can get something sorted with Whirlpool, unlikely to purchase any more appliances from them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some irritations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved into house almost three weeks ago and used washer for the first time. I don’t love the sensor fill— The periodic squirting is irritating. I’d rather just low, medium, high settings to do myself. I also didn’t find the instructions real clear on starting the machine – – you have to press the start button twice: the first time all the lights except the last one lights up and that’s all; then the second time you hit it just the fill light comes on. For a while, I couldn’t understand why it wasn’t starting, and those aren’t the directions on the button (which is just turning it off) or in instructions clearly stated (that I could find).

Love my basic washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer gets my clothes clean and I haven’t had any issues. I am glad to go back to the basics washer. I had a previous model that was much more expensive with bells and whistles I never used. I also like the dasher, cleans so much better. Whirlpool rocks!
