BASIC BUT OK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The final spin dry cycle does not drain enough water from the clothes which leaves them unusually damp . It's a temporary washer not one that we would keep for years. Whirlpool could have done better

Unreliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is consistently unreliable. It works fine for a while then it just stops working. I learned recently that there is a series of steps to reset it. Similar to a combination lock you have to turn the buttons until the oval lights blink, followed by unplug it and waiting 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in. Apparently, the washer may need resetting after a power outage and for other reasons that I cannot figure it out. For the life of me, I don't understand why there isn't reset button. It fills up with a lot of water even when the setting for Deep Fill is off. The cycles take forever to finish. Occasionally, the washer tears up my clothes and linen. It's only 5 years old (came with the condo) but I'm going to buy another washer during the holiday sales. It’s been a big headache. Appliances are not what they used to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only way to get the water to cover the clothes is to set on heavy soiled load. Also it takes a hour and 15 min to do a load. Not thrilled with the machine

Very Hard To Balance Spinning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never had a Whirlpool and they said it was now Kenmore; anyways my least favorite due to the noises it makes when spinning. This was a brand new washer and my husband has put in many washers over the years and remodels; I would not recommend this one due to how difficult right from the start to balance and not make horrible noises.

Machine won’t start

I’ve followed the instructions time and time again and the machine just won’t start. It takes 20-30mins of trying for the machine to come on. There is also a lot of noise when it spin drys.
