Wonderful Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dad always taught me to buy Whirlpool appliances...they do not disappoint. I will always buy Whirlpool :). The washer took some time getting used to (because of the noise it makes during the first cycle). Other than the noise level, this has been a solid washer.

This wash is the dumbest washer ever when it starts to full up it fills up very slow then drains out urgh I'm so mad I read the instructions and still same results Please please DONT BUY

Cleans get

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my top load washing machine about a month. I love it. It does take a long time to wash a load on a normal cycle. But this machine spins out so much, that it take half the time to dry. So time wise, every works out the same. Since hydro is so expensive, the less drying time is cheaper. Great Machine.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this appliance 5 weeks ago. We bought local and purchased Whirlpool because of its reputation and the controls are user friendly for my husband who is blind. The first time we used it we felt something was not right because when it is agitating it makes a scrapping noise. During the spin cycle it is very loud and shimmies to the point that I cannot put a pair of glasses on it because they will shimmy to the floor. The laundry room abuts the den/office and when it is in spin cycle it is so loud it is disturbing. We called the dealer and they sent out a technician who checked it over and said that all was normal. That's the way they are these days.
We are retired, don't have a family that requires a lot of heavy duty washing and wanted a basic wash machine without spending thousands of dollars for a new super washer/dryer combo that was more than we needed.
It seems to wash OK but I am disappointed and expected better quality from Whilrpool
