[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this appliance as part of a program from the State of Calif., Edison & the Gas Co. This is my 1stever front load washer in 50 yrs. I have issues with my back, & was very hesitant because of that. I really like the results of this washer. It uses less water, is super quiet & more efficient. This is also my 1st Whirlpool. I am impressed. I have always used Maytag (because of Mom). In spite of the front loading, I like this washer a lot. With all of the electronics, it took a bit (you know old people) to get used to, but is very easy. I am glad I received this washer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Eats clothes

I have a Whirlpool duet front load washer, It ate a new blouse. Clothes get caught between metal and rubber gasket on front door. Never purchase front load. Whirlpool said I could pay $400 for repair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
