The inside of the refrigerator is very roomy and the freezer really works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this fridge for about 2 years and it's been fine, but it's also been discontinued so maybe it wasn't fine enough for LG. It has functioned as expected, keeping things I put in it cold and/or frozen so I'm not sure what else there to say about it in that regard. The angle of the water dispenser hose takes some getting used to and frequently results in small spills. The dispense plate or whatever you call the part in back that you push to dispense water has a strange habit of sticking when the weather gets cold. The first year it was an unhappy development we thought we'd have to live with -- having to physically pull it back out to stop the flow -- but as the weather warmed it seemed to have fixed itself. Then the 2nd year as it got cold, it happened again. Very odd. One of the bins inside the door also cracked suddenly and had to be replaced. LG was good about sending a new one.
Pros: ease of use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Side by side comparison put LG over the top! Although a couple of cubic feet smaller than my previous refrigerator, the LG has more functional space. And the door-in-door feature is fantastic! Now if only LG would consistently apply ThinQ to all appliances, my LG kitchen would be remarkable!
