As per title the ice dispenser stopped working all of sudden. It makes ice but the auger goes every 20 mins without asking it to, crushing and moving the ice into the chute where it freezes and blocks delivery. Then when you press for ice nothing happens.

Purchased brand new less than 5 years ago, and now it's not cooling. Parts to repair weren't available. Refrigerator broke down mid November and parts weren't available until February.

Had to replace the circuit board last year and this year the compressor went out. Was going to cost so much to fix it we bought a new fridge (different brand). Lasted just over 5 years, not worth the money we spent

Cost is too much

Refrigerator was brought in 2018. Worked fine at that time. Fast forward to 2024 and the freezer quit working. Was on vacation for 2 weeks and upon returning found water on the floor from the ice maker and my food defrosted. The refrigerator is cool but not cold. Tried calling the LG help line. Too overwhelmed with calls, told to call back another time and cut off. Thus was done via a machine. Also tried all the troubleshooting tips given to no avail. Upon researching the product I'm finding that my case isn't an isolated issue and this actual refrigerator is discontinued.
