I thought it was a great idea for Otterbox to make a Commuter Series for the S7 Edge. It offers more protection than the Symmetry Series. I do like the product, but I wish that there would be a Defender Series which would include a screen cover. As for the Commuter Series this should have included a screen protector as an added protection.

Box to slick. It will slip right out of my scrubs. Plus with my screen on my phone the box offers no protection if I drop it screen down my phone is history. This is my 2nd otterbix purchase and I have been disappointed in both. No more for me.

We are sorry that the Commuter case is a bit too slippery for your comfort level and that you are disappointed with the amount of screen protection. We certainly weren’t out to cause any perilous predicaments, but rather create a streamlined design with ease-of-use for clothing pockets, etc.
Although the Commuter does have raised beveled edges at the top and bottom to help protect the screen you can always add our Alpha Glass screen protector or go with the Defender case that has a built in screen protector. Check out the links below for more information on those OtterBox products.

Dropped off a cliff

So I was doing some trad climbing out near Fresno CA and mid route I had a sick view and really wanted to snapchat it to a friend. I proceeded to drop it off a cliff and my phone lived. Case confirmed idiot-proof. Attached pic is where I dropped it from.

This case is perfect for the Galaxy S7 Edge. It fits perfect. I have the invisible HD screen protector and the case works great with it. I have never owned an otter box before, but I am now a user for life. The color is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for a great product and super fast shipping.

I wish it still had the screen protection as part of the product like it did on the S4. Other than that, the case has proven to be durable as I have already dropped the phone a couple times and there has been no damage to it. Still wish it had the screen though, installing, manually, a screen protector is not easy and it doesn't really work as well as I would like with the case.

I am on the go constantly and more than occasionally my phone will slip out my pocket or I am juggling to many things and it flys out of my hand. It has hit pavement and concrete and my phone remains intact.
