[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 slice Black and Decker toaster looks so sleek and beautiful on my counter. Since it's a 4 slicer I no longer have to wait for my toast with the two of us. Super idea for the reheat button. Makes my toast light and crispy. Love the retractable electric cord.

Now I can get all the toast for breakfast going fast and easy with this great toaster . With it having 4 slots I can prepare the toast easy to my family's preference. I've already recommended this to friends and family for the ease and plain out awesome-ness of it . It's defiantly worth it !

Not the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box this toaster has a great look. I was excited about some of the features but they didn't work well. First the retractable cord doesn't work very well. It takes many tries to have it retract. I eat a bagel a few times a week so the bagel function is one that I thought would be great. But this was another fail. A bagel function should only toast one side of the bagel. This toasted both sides and made the outside hard. It also did not toast it evenly. The bottom of the bagel did not toast well and I had to flip it and retoast it. I wanted to see if it would toast a piece of bread evenly and it did not. The top toasts well and the bottom did not.

Sleek look, great features

Nice Toaster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, operation of this toaster is good. It is very user friendly and I love being able to toast four slices of bread at a time. The toaster is esthetically pleasing and looks great in my kitchen. The black and stainless steel make it go with essentially everything. I have both black and stainless steel appliances, so this is perfect in my kitchen!
The only negative I have is the lever to lower the bread and start the heating requires additional force to get it to latch down. The toaster also had a strong odor the first several uses. I would like to see the instruction manual include instructions to run the toaster a few times without bread in it before putting it in use.
Overall, I am very pleased with the toaster. I would purchase this toaster and recommend it to a friend. I

Love the retractable cord!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An upgrade from the Black and Decker 4-slice I've appreciated for nearly 10 years. This new one has some clear upgrades, including the retractable cord, which is great for storing the small appliance in a cupboard rather than leaving it on the counter all.the.time. I also love that the crumb plates are in the front. They're much easier to access and to keep clean [mostly because I remember they exist when they're in front]. The design is also a bit sleeker, with the chrome sides and black front. It maintains the awesome features I enjoy, like the pop-up so you don't have to stick your fingers into the slots to pull out toasty items. The 4-slice is so convenient because I can make everyone a slice of toast at once and we can enjoy it while we wait for slice #2, ha! This is a sturdy, well-made appliance that I anticipate having for years to come.

I toast mine on 3 and it is just the way I like it. So far it has toasted evenly and crumb cleanup is a breeze. It is a nice addition to our kitchen that gets lots of use.
