Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first few times I used this toaster, I was quite disappointed. It smelled like burnt rubber and only toasted one side of the bread. By the 4th use, however, it worked great. It toasts both sides evenly and doesn't burn the bread. It toasts bagels perfectly on the bagel setting. It's a vast improvement over our previous toaster. My only complaint is that the slots aren't long enough for a larger piece of bread (like Boudin sourdough).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the retractable cord

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the retractable cord, I never have to worry about finding the cord to the toaster hanging out of the closet or laying on the counter again. This toaster cooks fast and evenly.

Broke already

My last toaster a Hamilton Beach cheap lasted almost 8 years. Decided this time I would upgrade a bit so I bought this toaster. I have had it barely two years and it broke, doesn’t work at all. So disappointed to buy a supposedly better small appliance and have it break already. I know my fault for not registering it Andy all that so I am just out of luck. Next toaster wont be a Black and Decker that’s for sure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Caught on fire

It's acted up since we first got it. We'd have to wiggle the cord to get it to work. Then the cord burned up with a very bright flame!

It's also the first one that has such wide slots. This toaster is great! It's perfect for getting the right crisp on bagels! It's not hard at all to get bagels out of the slots either. Great great product!

I have been wanting a 4 slice toaster for a few years now and am so excited to get this! I love how you can toast 4 slices of bread for toast or bagels at one time. It is so convenient to use and pretty quick too. I also love the color.
