Broke already

My last toaster a Hamilton Beach cheap lasted almost 8 years. Decided this time I would upgrade a bit so I bought this toaster. I have had it barely two years and it broke, doesn’t work at all. So disappointed to buy a supposedly better small appliance and have it break already. I know my fault for not registering it Andy all that so I am just out of luck. Next toaster wont be a Black and Decker that’s for sure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the retractable cord

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first few times I used this toaster, I was quite disappointed. It smelled like burnt rubber and only toasted one side of the bread. By the 4th use, however, it worked great. It toasts both sides evenly and doesn't burn the bread. It toasts bagels perfectly on the bagel setting. It's a vast improvement over our previous toaster. My only complaint is that the slots aren't long enough for a larger piece of bread (like Boudin sourdough).

Fast and easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to upgrade our old two slice toaster to a four slice model-- I have two growing kids and they're starting eat all. the. food. I like that this toaster has separate settings for bagels as well as frozen bread; there's no trying to jam a giant bagel slice into a tiny slot and hoping for the best, or getting out a slice of toast that's still a little icy in the middle. This toaster also seems to toast things up much faster than our previous model, which is a delight. Hungry kids: not so patient. Basically, it's a toaster, it's not anything magical, but it's well designed and gives you a nice set of options for your food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this 4 slice toaster! It has wide slot openings which fits bagels and texas toast.! It browns evenly on both sides and toasts very well on different settings too! Great value and would highly recommend!

Great Toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting to upgrade our ancient 2 slice toaster for awhile now, so I was super excited to try out this Black & Decker 4 slice toaster. I love that I can make toast for my whole family at once and that I can adjust the darkness level for each individual slice. I was surprised by how fast it toasted the bread, and how well it does frozen pastries and bagels also. I did find it a little larger than expected, and was unable to fit it in my cabinet, but luckily with it's stainless finish it looks great on my counter.
