[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very easy to use and versatile knife sharpener. It is fairly quiet and has multiple settings for different knives and degree of blade. We first tried an older knife we had and it sharpened it right up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never attempted to sharpen my knives before. I have had my current set for about 14 years. Needless to say, they are dull. I was reading through the comprehensive manual and there was a lot of information there. I was kind of pressed for time, so I ended up watching a YouTube video on how to use it. The video ended up making sense of the directions I read. Anyway, all that to say, it was very simple to use. They made a point to make sure when you're checking for the burr that the first step creates, to not slide your finger along the blade and potentially injure yourself. Don't worry the burr is removed in a future step. Anyway, this sharpener sharpens serrated edge knives as well, but you are only supposed to use step 3 for those knives. After sharpening my knives, I cut up some meat with absolutely no hang ups. Before I would have had to put a lot more effort and sawing motion into getting that meat cut. So, I am incredibly happy with the results!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Chef's Choice Professional Sharpening Station Model 130 is a pretty good sharpener. It's pretty straightforward to use and does a decent job with the sharpening. It looks and feels well made and I would expect it to last quite some time.
