So nifty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new favorite kitchen gadget! Love the sleek look of the product (I’m a sucker for anything stainless steel) & the ease of using it. Nothing difficult about it and it came at the perfect time as my family is gearing to move. Now I won’t have to worry if my food goes bad! Love that it came with bags and a roll for me to get started. It does exactly what it claims to do: seals everything in! I tried it on all my meats in the freezer and even crockpot meals I’m planning to cook in the future! It has different controls so you’re able to control how much the food is sealed. Now I feel confident buying a lot of meat, fruit & vegetables without worrying about them spoiling or getting freezer burned. This seems like a product that will last the test of time! Extra bonus is that the accessories (bags and rolls) are truly affordable!!

Definite Money Saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got my NutriFresh Vacuum Sealer about 3 weeks ago and am very happy with it. Very easy to use and is proving to be a big money saver. I have never been one to buy in volume, until now. I search the grocery ads each week for the lowest prices and buy in volume. My wife always tends to cook extra. Now I vacuum seal the leftovers (last night spaghetti sauce). I've found that freezing leftovers that are liquidy works best; then transferring them into freezer bags. I always list what's sealed in each bag along with the date. Really neatened up my freezer!

Terrific Tool in the Kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The NutriFresh Vacuum Sealer is a terrific addition to my kitchen and worked out better than I could have imagined.
The NutriFresh comes with enough material to make many bags for sealing food, along with a number of pre-sized bags for bigger batches of food. The instructions are easy to follow and clearly written. Be sure to look at each end of the movable sealing cover. There are packing pieces at each end that prevent the locking devices from operating. Once I pulled these out, the device operated perfectly.
Be sure to use the locking mechanisms at each end of the device when sealing and vacuum sealing. This will make the perfect seal.
After setting up the NutriFresh, I first used some poached salmon pieces to seal. I cut a bag to size and sealed one end, inserted the salmon, and used the vacuum seal feature. It was amazing how quickly this sealed up and how compact the end product turned out. No muss, no fuss!!
I also sealed up sliced sausages and rice, whole sausages, and plain sliced sausages. These all went into the freezer. They took up so little space compared to the usual storage containers.
As long as I followed the very clear instructions provided, no matter what food I tried, it sealed up quickly and easily.
I am very impressed with how fresh all the vacuum sealed food stays, either in the fridge or in the freezer. No freezer burn, no wilting or spoiling. The Nutrifresh definitely will make food storage in the freezer much easier, and in the fridge too. Items vacuum sealed are so compact that they are very easy to store.
I would highly recommend the Hamilton Beach NutiFresh as a great tool for kitchen, as it will save money by reducing food waste. It is also great fun to use.

Performs well, but read the instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was provided this vacuum sealer free of charge by Hamilton Beach for my impartial assessment. I received no further incentive.
This was the first vacuum sealer that I’ve used and overall I found it to be effective in its function, although it pays to read the instructions. The sealer can be used in automatic vacuum and seal mode or separate manual seal and vacuum modes for making vacuum bags or bagging delicate products.
The sealer can be used with pre-formed bags or bags can be made by using a roll of material that needs to be cut with scissors and the 3rd side sealed in seal only mode.
For solid products, the automatic mode delivers a good vacuum and seal. However, be careful if there’s any liquid in your product as the strength of the vacuum can draw the liquid into the pump, which may cause damage, and the seal quality will likely be poor.
Using the manual vacuum mode it’s possible to control the vacuum level for bagging more delicate products and then manually seal.
One slight annoyance is with the cord storage, which is a little fiddly and requires the cord to be wrapped and pushed into an opening on the underside of the sealer.
Overall I found this vacuum sealer to be effective at delivering a well sealed and vacuumed package and if you are in the market for such a device then I would recommend this model.

Seals great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this! I do a lot of buying fresh and freezing so this works great. The only downside is having to hold the lid down the entire time it is working. It other than that it works great and I do not have any complaints about it. Vacuum seal and sealer works perfect!
