Careful

Foreword: I have had a Steelie on all my Iphones. The 5, 5s, 6, 6s, 8, and 8+. I have loved this product every step of the way.
BUT...when I got my Iphone 11, i noticed almost immediately that something was different when the magnet was attracted to the phone. No other time had a Steelie magnet stuck to my device (rather aggressively) without the 3M adhesive. I didn't think too much about it, until about an hour later when my screen started glitching. I thought I had received a faulty new phone, not even acknowledging the magnet on the back. But as I was driving to the Apple Store, it clicked. My screen was unresponsive (yet you could still see the choppy, erratic text on the screen) at this point, but I took the case off (with the magnet) and did a hard reset with the buttons and sure enough, once it booted back up, the screen worked again.
So word to the wise, this is a great product, but it can absolutely damage new-gen phones.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't get pads at store

I bought my Steely at Love's truck stop the problem is. The pads are not thick enough mine keeps falling down and you can't find pad Replacements at the stores

Great Product and Customer Service

Purchased 3 kits in Aug. and love them. I chatted with Brian in customer service who was awesome about a problem that the mounts have come off my dash. Found out I did not clean the dash with the right product and he is sending me replacement mounts. That my friends is good customer service.

stick it everywhere and bluetooth music record video off the back of my towtruck sometimes I have forgotten it stick to my towtruck going down the hwy then my headset rings and i look for my phone but had to stop and grab it off the back of my boom lol it has never let me down yet :) and that's in minus 35 cold weather just wish i could buy the part that sticks to my phone for other things like remotes for tv etc: here in Canada just by itself just the magnets :) would be nice to purchase up here in Edmonton Alberta Canada thankyou :)

Best car mount out there!!!

I bought 1 YEARS AGO and it still use it (same one!) Changed phones 3 times and vehicle once. I tried many others before I got mine. Phone always wound up falling/bouncing off all others. NEVER has fallen off since I got it. Adhesives worked great. When it changed car had an extra adhesives to use. When it changed phones in ended up using super glue. Tough to switch to a new case BUT it worked!
ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
Just wish I could buy extra adhesives dots.
Getting another one to use on my boat.

Was a great product for a few weeks but the phone holder broke a few weeks in due to poor plastic parts.

I love it on my work phone but have a question.

So for my work phone I got and iPhone 12 with a steelie mount on it and I love it. The phone seems to always work fine. I just today bought and iPhone 13 Pro Max for my personal phone and the sterile mount magnetizes to the phone without needing the adhesive. This has me afraid to put it on but I love the mount and want to use it! Any advice Nite Ize?

That said, we recently came out with the Steelie Orbiter Plus Magnetic Socket + Metal Ring which is designed to take advantage of the Apple MagSafe ring of magnets housed within the phone. I've had several other dashboard phone holders and they were all mostly awful: some popped off the dash, others wouldn't hold the phone at the right angle, or the phone would pop out. Problem solved with the steelie - it stays exactly where you put it, and you can adjust the phone to any other angle. I badly need a new phone, but wasn't going to get one until I could get a steelie magnet for it. So happy they came back in stock!
