Holding on for dear life

I am always slapping this thing to anything metal so that I don't have to carry my gargantuan phone around in my pocket. I'm like 3 feet tall, so I'm not sure why I thought it would be a good idea to buy a Note 4 (which is the size of my thigh). Anywho, I slapped it to the side of my wife's car this afternoon while I was fixing a sprinkler head, so that I could listen to Spotify from my phone. The next thing I know, my wife has driven off with her car, with my phone still sticking to the door panel. She was on the freeway for nearly 30 minutes with that thing still clinging to the side of the car. Long story short, the magnet on this phone is over three years old, and still has the devil's grip. I recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Set Up, Fast Charge, Fast Transfer

I am absolutely blown away by the design, quality and concept of this entire Nite Ize phone mount system and additional accessories. In all the years I've owned mobile phones, I have never had a system that works this perfectly and is as versatile that it works everywhere you need it to! I will never even try another mounting system again because in Nite Ize I've found utter perfection in usability and the epitome of the modern design concept of form follows function, creating almost human like joints with magnets, steel balls and silicone cartilage in the highest possible quality and craftsmanship. I am hooked and will slowly but surely be adding to my growing collection of accessories! Innovation is a must in today's world, so Thank you for creating the ultimate system for my ultimate mobile phone!

This is the ONLY car mount kit worth considering. Easy to install, rugged and elegant, it works like a charm.My car just didn't have a place to put a cell phone holder without blocking some needed control or button. The Steelie changed all that.I use an iPhone 5s, and the sleek lines are important to me. The small "button" I applied to the case is unobtrusive and lets me use the phone as I always have... only better! I can now just stick the phone to the fridge or any other ferrous surface and have it conveniently in view.This really is an outstanding product!

I bought the vent mounted one because I drive alot in the summer months. It hold the phone on the vent but I am forever trying to keep it up and level. It is always sliding down. I have to put a piece of tape in the vent piece to keep it up in place. Not happy with this at all. It is not really an inexpensive piece either. Just not happy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This issue sounds like the magnetic phone socket that came in your kit is too small for your device. The solution is the magnetic phone socket plus, it has twice the magnetic power, and it should keep your phone in place on the Steelie Ball. Sophie - I am looking at this product, and was anticipating the same problem. I am thinking that I could buy a second case (my phone is always in a protective case) to keep in the car for use with the car mount. Not only solves the issue of a big, inconvenient bump on the back of my phone, but I don't have to worry about ruining my credit cards or computer with the magnet.

I us these in al my vehicles, my car, my pickup, My Harley, and in my big truck. They are used everyday. My phone is too heavy to carry in my pocket all the time, so this a great product.

Love that the piece on the phone is magnetised

I am buying another one. Yes in the heat it doesn’t stick to the phone or dash - outdoor UV protected silicone does the trick.
The fact that the phone piece is magnetised is great! I can stick my phone anywhere on a metal object for viewing or just to keep it out off the way and out of my pocket

My favorite phone accessory!

I've had a Steelie magnet and mount for about 3 years now. I use it on every new phone I get. I love that I can put my phone on the refrigerator when I'm cleaning and listening to music or watch a show. I love having it securely attached to my dash while I drive. I hope to never be without it! It is my favorite phone accessory!
