Not for use on back of iPhone X

Great product for sure but do not use without a reinforced back on your iPhone X. I was using a case but very thin one drop and cracked entire glass. You can see where crater is exactly where circle was

Won't hold large phones at all viewing angles

I love the concept of this product. However, the phone socket piece was much smaller than I thought it would be. When I used it in my car it was strong enough to hold my phone to the ball mount, but it could not hold it up at all viewing angles. I have a Galaxy S7 with a relatively slim phone case, and I guess the weight of this phone is too heavy to be held up at any viewing angle. I would guess that this would be the case with many modern phones with larger screen sizes. I have since noticed there is a phone socket plus size for bigger phones, so I might try that socket to see if it holds my phone up better. I wish I had known about the larger phone socket option to start with.

I use this in the car, at home on the fridge, in the gym on the weight rack, it’s absolutely essential to have for your mobile phone.
I only wish that it came in a fun mental or black.

Window mount

I got one of your window mounts used it for a couple of days and its broke I use your outher products and have no problems but I'm have a problem with the window mount

Magnet on wrong end

This works really well BUT the magnet should not be on the phone but on the dash. The magnet has demagnetized TWO bank cards that I was holding in my hand along with my phone. It doesn't make sense to put the magnet on the phone which also means you are holding a magnet next to your head when you talk on the phone. Please consider this small change!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Trouble,
I am sorry that your Steelie Dash Mount is not adhering to your dash. The reason this happens is there’s some coating on your dash that is preventing the 3M VHB adhesive from sticking. This could be from the manufacturer or if you have ever used products like Armor All or the like. We have had great luck defeating the coating using a gentle degreaser like Simple Green. You would want to apply a small amount of the degreaser to a towel, drape it over your finger, and work it into the spot you want to mount the Steelie. When you are done, wipe it dry. Keep in mind the footprint of the mount is small, so be judicious with the degreaser. I would also advise testing this in an inconspicuous location as to ensure no discoloration occurs. I would be happy to send you extra adhesives to give this a go. please contact customer service at info@niteize.com or 1-800-678-6483, Mon-Fri, 8 AM – 5 PM MST.
