Nearly Perfect

I've had my set since launch now and have used them every day to and from work (and sometimes at work) and I gotta say, these sound GREAT! Good mix of bass, mids, and highs for sports-focused BT headphones.
I've tried the microphone, that is a bit lackluster, understandably considering how it is intended to be worn; not really a complaint for me because I expected it. My two biggest complaints are: PC compatibility & range. I had these working on my laptop no problem day 1. But by day 2, for some reason, it simply won't connect for music playback any longer. Regarding range, for some reason having my S6 Edge in my pocket is enough for audio to cut in and out sporadically. Moving my phone to my shirt pocket is close enough to give me consistent, high quality audio. It isn't all the time thank goodness.
My biggest praise for these is the BATTERY LIFE! I was able to go a full week without even considering battery life (~60-90 minutes each day) and I only ended up charging it out of paranoia. For the size of the headphones and the lightweight design, I am seriously impressed.
Overall:
PROS:
Battery life +++
Weight ++
Design ++
Controls ++ (works with Google Now also)
CONS:
Effective Range - -
PC Compatibility -
Honestly, I wish I could do half stars because my negatives only should knock it down half a star, but I can't.

Go to Workout Earbuds
on June 3, 2016

Had reservations given some of the concerns with the original Epic earbuds. It looks like they fixed all those issues and then some. I was able to walk down the office hall away from my phone before I had any signal issues. Other than that it's been loud and clear music all day. No issues leaving my phone in an opposite pants pocket, backpack, or even an adjacent room. I'd say the full 30 foot bluetooth range is there.
The battery on this thing is a monster. I'm charging them for the first time today and I received them about 2 weeks ago. I can't comment on water resistance but I've worked out with them several times and sweat hasn't cause any issues.
Overall these things are a workout dream and can do double duty as everyday wireless earbuds. The sound is very clear and doesn't feel like listening to bluetooth phones.

Very impressed

I'm very impressed with these earphones. Starting with the packaging, it is well designed and practical, the included accessories such as ear pieces and case are a nice touch as well as the instructions.
The earphones themselves are very well designed, light, sturdy, comfortable to wear and the sound quality is really good. The controls are easy and intuitive to use, and are not too large or heavy so they don't cause tugging on the cables.
Overall this is a great products I I would definitely recommend.

The Only Earbuds Worth Looking At
on June 7, 2016

I have tried dozens of bluetooth Earbuds and all but one have failed me. Now to explain why so many have failed for me would first require that I explain that I have exceptionally narrow ear cannals so many like the Jaybirds X2 would just not fit. Second is that any earbud that doesn't have ear hooks will not stay in my ears. So the fit requirement were satisfied perfectly by the original Epic Bluetooths. But they and many others still were included in the dozens that failed because the bluetooth range on those was very poor and my music would cut out very often. But, when my original Epics died, Jlab sent me the Epic Bluetooth 2 and all my woes were rectified. This has become my only and my perfect earbud for the gym and everyday use.

Clear winner

If you have an EPIC or considered buying one, then read about connectivity issues, then went to the FAQ/Support Page and read the instructions on how to get good connectivity out of them, you should print those instructions, fold them into a nice paper crane, and then buy the EPIC2 and not worry about it any more.
My issues: first, I couldn't get the connectivity to work for my use case. I use these primarily while commuting and during my daily lunch-time walk. With my phone in my left pocket (being left-handed) I had a lot of issues with drops and skipping sounds. Right pocket, not much better. Shirt pocket was OK, until it's cold and I put on a jacket or until I turned my head and the antenna moved back out of range. Second, I must have some odd anatomy in my ears, as the sound quality and volume would change just by small movements of my jaw. I also got a lot of crackling sounds from the earbuds, and a little trouble getting them to seat and stay in. Again, this may be something to do with ear anatomy.
The Epic2 earbuds fixed ALL of this. The triple-flange earbuds are comfortable and fit well. The new antenna technology has let me carry my phone wherever I want and under as many layers as I may need. I will admit I have not yet left my phone on a table or desk and walked away just to see how far I could go, but this is not a typical use case for me, so I didn't bother trying it. I do want to test out multipoint features, but they're not critical for my needs.
