Great sounding buds, but they SKIP a lot!
on November 7, 2016

Great sounds and fitting buds. When Im not especially active they work / sound / feel great. However, after lifting weights i walk 100 yards to the cardio machines with my Iphone6 in my pocket. The skipping is constant. I need to hold my phone in my hand to prevent skipping. On the elliptical machine there is no skipping with the phone in my pocket but the skipping starts again as soon as I slow walk out of the gym. I tried to re-pair the buds to the phone but there is no difference. If anyone has a solution, please let me know. Otherwise one of the best pair of buds Ive owned and over the years Ive had several pairs (sony, phillips, seinheiser, etc).

Excellent Bluetooth Ear Buds

I have tried many brands of wireless earbuds in a variety of price ranges. I saw an ad for JLAB epic2 wireless earbuds, I liked what I read about them and decided to try them. They are excellent, they have very good sound quality, the battery life is really good and the range is very good. When I go to the fitness room here I leave my iphone on the desk (it's very early in the morning, nobody is there) and I can go anywhere in the room to work out and never lose the quality of the sound. The fit is very good, they stay in place and they are very easy to clean. I have recommended the Epic2 earbuds to several of my friends and will continue to recommend them. I LOVE THEM

Epic2 vs. JBL Reflect Mini BT
on November 11, 2016

My household has both the JLab Epic2 and the JBL Reflect Mini BT earbuds. We have tested them in an array of activities from driving down the road, to riding our bikes, running, etc. Hands down every time the JLab performs better. The earbuds consistently stay connected to the device without skipping or lagging. The JBL's aren't as reliable with the connection on bike rides and is quite spotty, where the Epic2 gets the job done every time. I would definitely recommend the Epic2.

I LOVE my wireless earbuds. The sound quality is terrific and I love that I can answer my phone and the sound quality is just as good. I love my earbuds and I use them religiously at the gym. The teal color is fun and I would definitely recommend these earbuds!

I use these everyday! When I'm at work and working out. The best sound and battery life. I've been through many headphones sometimes two a month and these last for 3 months already.

These headphones have a good range, compatible with apple, nice sound, and cool colors (I got the grey/blue combo). I'm in the gym all the times so use them a lot.

Best fit and battery life
on December 14, 2016

Haven't had great luck with other Bluetooth sports earbuds before JLAB's epic 2. The fit on this was great because there are so many options provided. My right and left ear canals are different, and most earbuds come with just 3 choices (small, medium, large). I was bewildered when I first opened JLab epic and found so many options, including different shaped earbuds. When I ran with the earphones out of the box the right side slipped despite th hook behind the ear. But after trying a few changes, I found the grooved earbuds worked better for my right ear and the standard on my left. This flexibility makes it the best fit I have found. The light weight on the earbuds is a plus. Compared to my old Platronics that I ditched after just 2 runs. It was heavy and kept slipping despite trying all 3 different sizes.
The main negative is the intermittent break up in sound when my phone is in a spibelt at my waste while I run and when I bend over to stretch.
The Jlab Epic 2 has the best battery life out there. As a long distance runner I found this a problem as my old Jabra sport could only go 3h so I couldn't finish a marathon with it (I'm not Kenyan!). I've run 2h with the Epic2 so far and it still says "battery full" when I connect. Looking forward to more runs with this!

Good headphones -- only one major complaint
on December 15, 2016

On the off chance someone actually reads these things here goes...
In general I love these headphones. I use them everyday. They've been far superior to any of the series of cheap ones I've been buying for the last few years (and I guess they should be for the price).
My main problem with them is the WAY TOO FREQUENT battery level warnings. I basically need to be told the battery level at two points - when I turn the headphones on, and when the battery is about to run out. Other than that I don't want to hear about it. I really don't need my guided meditation session interrupted to let me know that BATTERY LEVEL MEDIUM, or similarly some key point in a podcast obscured by a BATTERY LEVEL FULL notice. Why are you even telling me that? It is a constant annoyance and like a grain of sand in an oyster it will gradually build up a pearl of hatred against this product that really actually like. Please fix this. And if it's possible to get a firmware update that will fix it for me, please, please, please let me know.
